I finally decided that I would just start to write and introduce a character that would tell the tale for me. However, as soon as I started to write the following prologue, this character took over and assumed complete control. Before I knew where I was he had become the fully developed character which I cavort about with in the ensuing pages. Believe me when I tell you, o eyeballs of little faith, that prior to writing I had no idea that I was creating a monster that would; a) take over and write itself into my life story, and; b) take over to such an extent that my life story got the proverbial elbow.
