Over a thousand Illustrations with a simple text based on the authorized version. The pictuires are packed with action and flow from one to another in such a manner that the movement of the story is clearly seen. Thewhole is presented in such a manner children as well as adults may see and understand
Three stars clearly isn’t a reflection of how I feel about the bible, but rather a reflection of certain compilations of the bible. I felt like this was a good, not great. It was a nice change of pace, and it is clearly written with all audiences in mind, not children as the title may suggest. I feel the other people reviewing that say that certain images are dated are out of touch and unappreciative that the importance of reading books like this is to see and understand the bible in new ways. A relationship with God is a fluid one, and reading different versions that span different generations can be eye opening. I am thankful that I sat down and worked my way through it, and although it wasn’t life changing, I can appreciate it for what it is.

This book was published a long time ago and although I like the way the stories are told the graphics would definitely not be politically correct. White people with nicely trimmed hair. Women in off the shoulder dresses.
