A pocket sized guide to all of the Beatles' recordings, this is perfectly good for what it is. Unlike other expensive, photo-filled tomes that present the same material in a long-winded style, this book is short and too the point. Each song gets a simple description, some technical details, a positive or negative evaluation, and sometimes an interesting anecdote. There is also info about potential differences between mono and stereo versions of each record when applicable.

This is basically a catalog of Beatles tracks from all their albums, with an annotation for each. But the commentary is so informative and opinionated that the book actually works as a page-turner.
