I'll admit it, I totally picked this up for all of the beautiful photos and I wasn't let down in the least. Plus, the reading itself is pretty fascinating. I'd love to travel to New Zealand some day.

This was my father's book that he bought after he and Mum first visited New Zealand. I read it while I was across the other side of the Tasman with Dianne on holiday to begin my retirement. Under these circumstances, any book would be good. But it was enjoyable reading about places we were visiting, particularly the Tongariro Crossing.
