The Compost Heap

Rate this book

This book explains what is needed for a compost and how to make a compost. This book also describes the bacteria and fungi in the compost. It talks about the bugs that feed on rotting fruits and vegetables too!
Like or not:
I liked this book. I honestly did not know that much about composts. I did not know that paper could be in a compost heap. This book is fun because it also give interesting facts. Over I really enjoyed reading this book and I feel like I know more about composts
Classroom:
I would absolutely use this book in the classroom! I think this book would be perfect to read during a science lesson talking about the different types of bacteria’s and why things break down the way they do. This is Great to teach the class that you can give back to the earth as well. They can make their own compost outside their house.
