Packed with never-before-seen photographs, The Kennedy White House reveals the world's most famous family, unstaged and as they were, both behind White House doors and in their private homes in Virginia, Palm Beach, Newport, and Hyannis Port. Carl Sferrazza Anthony's fascinating narrative brings new insight to the Kennedy story, in the first book to place the family within the context of 1960s culture and view historical events uniquely from the personal perspective of their family life. A candid and compelling tour, The Kennedy White House "takes you inside the world's most famous goldfish bowl for a glimpse at life in the White House as you've never seen it before" (Julie N. Eisenhower).
I so enjoyed this book of the Kennedy White House years. The text is more than readable. It is informative and entertaining. You’ll find out what early family life was like for the Kennedys in the White House. What Jackie and Jack’s relationship was like. How the country felt about them and what they thought of them. Jack and Jackie brought a sophistication to America that the country had never seen or experienced before. Suddenly everyone wanted to dress better, to know more, to be like them. I loved the children anecdotes and found out great information about how Jack and Jackie managed the White House, the world they created, and the wonderful life they had. You will see them as people. Glamorous people but real people. This is a very personal insight. A wonderful book. I read it cover to cover.

What's not to love? A history of the Kennedy, rarely seen White House photos, and just a lot of goodness in 300 pages. If you love Jack and Jackie, this book will be a great read.
