Dylan Dog #157

Dylan Dog n. 157: Il sonno della ragione

Rate this book

Simply and purely - good storytelling.

Of the sci-fi provenance - which is usually far from my thing.

One rainy London day, our main hero stumbles upon a skeleton-thin, nude female body - kinda/sorta/not-quite-but still alive. A nearly overdosed junkie, no doubt. Except...

The story spirals into a compelling string of ridiculously plausible developments:
mad scientists, lethal viruses, Sub-Saharan demons, well-placed red herrings galore... and in the end, a done well (another narrative device I'm not usually keen on).

Such a crazy, fun ride.

I need to search for other issues written by Paola Barbato, now.
