Rate this book
In Tensions, William analyzes, in lively and lucid style, one of our greatest modern we find ourselves unable to use tension - which is so much a part of our daily lives - in a creative way. We treat tension the way the Victorians treated we deny that it is there or think of it as a kid of disease, to be got rid of. He says that we should see tension as a challenge and an opportunity, a call to go more deeply into our faith. The tensions between faith and doubt, belief and unbelief, are signs of spiritual health. They were experienced eve by Jesus and they are necessary to honest Christianity
