A short entry for each day, consisting of a verse from the Bible, a short nudge towards meditation upon that verse and a suggested short prayer on the topic. It is all very simple and straightforward and I must say that it helped me greatly to keep focus on that which is important. And even when I was busy, there was always time for these short prayers. I very much appreciate this pretty volume.

Some daily meditations are insightful and thought provoking. Others are mediocre or superficial.

A fun addition to my daily prayers during the year of St Joseph but there was nothing earth shattering or enlightening about these meditations

As with other of the daily meditation series from Catholic Book Publishing Corp., there is a wealth of bite-size inspiration and wisdom to be gained from the use of this daily prayer book!

This prayer book is inspiring, bringing thoughts of St. Joseph and his actions into our everyday modern life while focusing my thoughts each day on Christ. Each day's section takes only a few minutes to read, and contains a scripture passage or quote from a saint, followed by a reflection and closes with a prayer that invites the reader into some desirable aspect of relationship with the Most Holy Trinity, through the intercession of the foster father of Christ.

As the introduction states, may we always look to St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church, helper, model and protector, and invoke his blessing, for “through his intercession and example of complete trust and obedience to the Father’s will may we follow in his footsteps…”
