Kitty Wells is a pseudonym of Lee Weatherly.

Kitty Wells, aka Lee Weatherly, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. She moved to the UK in 1995, and now lives in Hampshire with her husband. Lee's first book for children, Child X, was published by David Fickling Books in June 2002. It was shortlisted for the Sheffield Book Award, the Leicester Book Award and the Red House Children's Book Award. Lee has written three more books for older children for DFB, and is also the author of Bloomsbury's Glitterwings Academy series for younger children.

Read this to my daughter and she said it was worthy of 5 stars. Personally I’d give it a solid 3.5 but the lack of character development really held this book from taking off lol.

The main character, Maddy gets to help her feline friends resolve another dilemma in this book. This time though, jealousy and eventually growth are part of the story.

This story just wasn't as thought our or exciting as the first 2 books. The lessons one needs to learn are weaved in, but the overall story keeps it to a superficial level.

The series is still worth reading. You really want to go in sequence to understand the progression of the three cats.
