About the author

Joseph Berger (1929-2016) , a clinical psychologist, spent his working life at the Psychiatry Clinic of Belgrade University School of Medicine. He was also a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy. At the Department of Psychology he formed the course of Psychodiagnostics and laid the basis of the studies of clinical psychology. He actively participated in the work of the Association of Psychologists and in projects of the Institute of Psychology. He initiated the introduction of new psychological therapy directions. He held lectures, seminars and workshops at all university centers in the former Yugoslavia. He initiated the publication of two journals in clinical psychology and actively participated in all psychology sessions and congresses.

​He has written more than 160 professional and scientific papers, most notably the following books and larger studies:

Josip Berger (1929-2016) bio je srpski klinički psiholog. Radio je na Psihijatrijskoj klinici Medicinskog fakulteta u Beogradu. Nakon završenog doktorata, postaje profesor na Filozofskom fakultetu, gde na odeljenju za psihologiju osniva predmet psihodijagnostika i postavlja temelje kliničke psihologije na ovim prostorima.

Josip Berger je inicirao uvođenje novih pravaca psihološke terapije, o čemu je pisao u preko 160 stručnih i naučnih radova. Neke od njegovih najznačajnijih publikacija su:
