I loved it. Three women from different states, and walks of life. Then in steps God and he puts his plan in motion. The way Patterson and LaRue took Macy as she was and showed her how she could be if she would let God change her. They each found everything they were looking for, the only difference was that they let Gods will be done. They weren't perfect just children of God looking for what was right there along. God even took there talents that he had blessed them with and allowed them to use them instead of what others said. Macy's role was the most challenging one. She knew nothing about God's goodness but was willing to change to obtain his love and peace. Grace and mercy overflowing.

An awesome read! I saw a little of myself in each character. Jacquelin did an amazing job bringing these characters to like. This book is about faith, friendship, failure, future and favor! I loved it! Will definitely read more of her books

Thank You For Being My Friend

Once upon a time there were three girls...

Macy is a native of NYC. She's a spoiled brat and after getting in some trouble her parents decide that it's time for her to make it on her own.

Patterson is a Georgian and a strict Christian. She'll meet obstacle after obstacle as she tries to adapt to big city living.

LaRue is a Californian who's harboring a lot of hurt. Though she's been told that she looks like a model, it's late in her life that she decides to make a go for it without following God.

I found this book to be a very good read because not only was it refreshing, but it was also very inspirational. Three strangers with a common goal develop into friends.

How unlikely - 3 black women from three different backgrounds together in New York City. Those three backgrounds is unique for a reason. Each possesses what the other does not from how to get along in the big city to leading each other to Christ. They were what the other needed. From gaining spiritual insight, trusting God and living how God intended us to live. They each had an effect on each other and in the end despite being complete strangers, they became true friends.

I really enjoyed this book! I love stories of friendship and faith. The women reminded me of myself and my girlfriends. The author did a great job conveying their individual stories and bringing them together. This book increased my faith and encouraged me to stay faithful to the Lord.
