While attending her grandmother's birthday party, a young girl shares with her family that she has a loose tooth. Her uncle volunteers to extract it for her. Hi-jinks abound as the girl's uncle requires several tools to get the job done.

Uncle Tom is determined to get out the loose tooth. This is a funny book about the different tools Uncle Tom will use. He has her get pliers, a hammer, a screwdriver, and a crowbar. All along she thinks Uncle Tom's pulling her leg until he goes in for the attack. Then dad gets in on the attack. This is a fun, family book about losing a tooth and the different things we are willing to do to extract it.

For some reason, I found this book about an uncle "helping" to pull his niece's tooth slightly disturbing. The illustrations are very common place.
