Leiji Matsumoto (松本零士) is famous for his space operas such as Space Battleship Yamato. His style is characterized by tragic heroes; tall, slender, fragile-looking heroines with strong wills and in some cases, god-like powers; and a love of analog gauges and dials in his spacecraft.
"Ballad for skeleton" I love this story. Horo-Horo was betrayed by his lover, and now he became skeleton without ribs. When his lover betrayed him, he lost 1 his rib and now he has no ribs and selling eggs. By talking with Tetsuro, he felt heartwarming, but now he can't cry or smile... really sad story so I can't read without crying. I think author knows many tragedies of men who believe something or someone and lost something treasures. I always think so
