If one enjoys a simple plot about Wall Street types, New York City, life on the run without all the complicated factual details of the real Wall Street machinations, this is the novel to read! The characters are fairly well developed, and the plot is tight and for the most part. The most glaring problem seemed to be the police perspective. The function they served throughout the story was basically to supply information to us, the readers, and only secondarily did they serve as antagonists for the hero. Overall, a fair to good read.
I thought this was a good read. The author kept you interested right to the end of the book. I found the author shrewd in his disguise of what was the foundation for the set up.
It combines Wall Street with the underground drug world and the big money that is involved.
I found this novel an easy read. The characters were believable. The plot was easy to follow with an unexpected twist at the end. I quite liked the ending but hesitate to say why because I don't want to give too much away for new readers.
