[#370 Siren Ménage Everlasting: Erotic Futuristic Sci-Fi Ménage a Trois Romance, M/M/F, with M/M elements]
Leesa Bouchard hires pilots and fellow wranglers Cain Hammel and Geoff Adams to share her lucrative mission—to bring the Dreaming Death virus from the barren planet of Charos in the war torn Rhotan System to Virus Initiative Corporation on Earth.
On their return flight, they’re arrested for smuggling an “illegal” virus, despite their insistence they were hired for the job. The sentence? Quarantine—thirty days for Leesa to spend with the two men she’s fantasized about for the entire mission. As they explore their mutual attraction and nurture their growing affection, she finds herself the target of a government investigation into who contracted her to collect the deadly virus. Evidence points to terrorists from the Rhotan System who might be targeting Earth.
Can Cain and Geoff help Leesa clear her name and protect her when a government agent wants to use her as bait to capture the terrorists?
Elizabeth Raines makes her home in the Midwest. A fan of all genres of fiction, she enjoys blending her love of science fiction with romance in the books she writes exclusively for Siren Publishing. Her favorite movies are Pride and Prejudice and Love, Actually, and she spends far too much time watching shows like The Tudors and Mad Men. Elizabeth has been happily married for almost thirty years and tries to express that kind of enduring love in all her stories, hoping to help all her heroes and heroines have their own happily ever afters.
Can a futuristic Sci-Fi with one head strong woman and two drool worthy men get any hotter than this? Personally, I'm not one to get into Sci-Fi's but I have to say, this is one series that I will follow closely. Loved it. The descriptions of the surroundings throughout the book helped me to paint a vivid picture of what life was like in the world of Leesa, Cain and Geoff. Leesa's character was a favorite of mine. She is everything I look for in a leading lady. She's independent, passionate and extremely stubborn. You know when you combine those three elements, there's going to be fireworks somewhere. I instantly fell in love with both Cain and Geoff. Each was vastly different from the other and together, they made one powerful team, both in and out of the bedroom. (My personal favorite was Cain, but shhhhh don't tell, I'm not supposed to play favorites). When Cain and Geoff let their feelings for Leesa be known, the heat level goes through the roof.
A fast paced, exciting plot kept me wondering what would happen next. I can't give away anything more than what was in the blurb but you will definitely want to see what happens beyond the blurb. A captivating read, I found I couldn't put this book down. I love a good mystery and although this is a shorter novel, I found it to be highly addictive. I read Locked In in a matter of hours which is the perfect length of book for me personally. Locked In is book one in the Wicked Missions series but can also be read as a standalone. I look forward to reading more from this author and especially this series. Now excuse me while I go read Marooned, book two.
Leesa Bouchard hates small dark spaces. Cain Hammel and Geoff Adams, hired pilots and a married couple, are the only two people who get under her skin. When Leesa hires them to bring her a Dream Death Virus from Charos, in the war torn Rhotan System, they are arrested for smuggling an illegal virus despite being hired by Virus Initiative Corporation from Earth.
Cain and Geoff’s sentence is thirty days in quarantine and Leesa is trapped in a small space with the two men she can’t resist, men she has always wanted. Leesa also finds herself in the middle of a sting operation to find out who wants to harm Earth. Cain and Geoff will have to help and protect her from being harmed if they hope to have a future with her.
Locked In by Elizabeth Raines is the first book in her Wicked Missions series. I really liked the fiercely independent Leesa; she’s strong and knows where she wants to be in life. She also knows how she wants to get there. I also enjoyed seeing her vulnerable side when she’s with Cain and Geoff too.
Cain and Geoff are as different as night and day; Cain is the sweet tender one and Geoff is the gruff and over protective one—together they bring out the best in each other. I also liked the world building in this book, and the part that dealt with the characters’ quarantine. I felt it flowed well and made sense.
I really liked these characters and how they introduced me to this futuristic series. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book in this series.
First time I have read anything by Elizabeth Raines and I absolutely loved it! Time to hook up the rest of the Series methinks!
MMF is one of my favorite genre's and I adore fiesty confident heroines... and of course the MM aspect has to have two hot super confident possessive hero's!
This was ok for what it is. It was not great. I felt like it started in the middle of a book and just breezed through to the end. I didn't get enough of any of the characters or the story to be in any way invested.
A very light enjoyable, menage read. Nothing overly special. Could have been set anywhere really, except for the bad guy and maybe the wine. But, if your looking for a "darn, it's is freezing outside and I just want to curl up on the couch read" you'll probably like this one.
Ok and nothing more. For a woman supposedly decisive and self-sufficient Leesa was rather needy and insecure. Geoff and Cain weren't very intresting. I couldn't feel any pull between them all and sex scenes were repetitive. End of the story.
