Pharaoh Vaughan was the type of man that you don’t want to cross. As Wolf Warriors MC’s, enforcer, if you were on his radar, you had better be prepared to dance with the devil.
When it came to women, there was only ever one he considered giving his heart to, but the debt he felt he owed the only family that ever showed up for him forced Pharaoh to choose loyalty over love.
Yahri Hall decided at a very young age that her heart belonged to one man and one man only. Pharaoh Vaughan was forbidden fruit and what made matters worse, he’d crushed her teenaged heart.
Ten years later, Yahri landed herself right in the middle of a complicated situation. There was only one place she could go to feel safe and protected. That safe space just happened to be the home her father forced her to leave in order to keep her disconnected from his very dangerous life. All things came full circle when the love that was forbidden years ago became the only person who is man enough to keep her out of danger.
Pharaoh and Yahri have the potential for a second chance at love, but the price may be higher than either of them is willing to pay.

Pharaoh and Yahri were in a constant struggle because they both understood what they wanted but were stubborn. Both were able to resolve their unsolved issues from the past Yahri situation really brought them together and I’m just glad they got their happy ending . Their love story was cute. I adored how Yahri and Pharaoh were equals in terms of craziness and shouldn't be tested. Just the perfect match Pharaoh with his possessive ways and Yahri with her razor. The story of Mint interests me next.
I love reading a good MC book or series. I used to be in a motorcycle club, and it was just a hobby for me however, I love reading about the men and women who choose it as a lifestyle. I've seen a few one percent clubs and have always been curious and appalled by the women being considered property. I don't know if this story matches what goes on in the real world, but this story is a much better version than what I had in my mind.
Pharaoh is a bad boy, playboy and enforcer for the Wolf Warriors MC Club. He's a favorite among the women. Most want something more and he's willing to give them the D but nothing more. Only one woman has his heart but she's off limits. Pharaoh has feelings for his mentor and former club president, Koda's daughter. Pharaoh is like a son to Koda and when Koda learns that Pharaoh has a thing for his daughter, he gives Pharaoh an ultimatum. Stay in the club and let his daughter go or leave the club and be with his daughter. Pharaoh realizes that he's not the man he needs to be for her at the present time and agrees she would be safer away from the MC lifestyle.
Yahri is club royalty. Her father, Koda sent her to live with her aunt after her mother was murdered by a rival MC club. He does this out of love and fear for her safety. However, at 18 Yahri doesn't see it that way. She feels betrayed by her father, the MC club and Pharaoh who agrees she should go. Fast forward 10 years later and Yarhi gets mixed up in the very thing her father tried to protect her from. Her life is in danger, and she has no choice but to return home. When Yahri returns to Diamond Falls, she realizes that the lifestyle is still a part of her, she was made for this.
As Pharaoh and the club figures out the best way to keep Yahri safe and eliminate the threat on her life, Pharaoh and Yahri get a second chance at romance. They uncover secrets from the past and begin to heal from past hurts and traumas.
Of course, the couple couldn't get their HEA until at least one thirsty a$$ and entitled CA tried to lay claim to Pharaoh. However, Pharaoh and Yahri quenched that thirst and gave her what she was looking for with that club scene. Sis should be good and hydrated now.
I was ready for Pharaohs book because we knew the person occupying his time was definitely someone forbidden and after reading it, this story was also second chance/ close proximity! A few of my faves! Our heroine Yarhi is on the run from a situation that has her in danger and she escapes back to Diamond Falls for help from those who use to be family to her. From there we go on the journey of Pharaoh and Yahri navigating this new normal of him protecting her, getting to know the new versions of each other and dealing with past hurt. A lot of revelations are revealed and the story never felt stagnant. The book kept moving! Pharaoh is that man ok!! But also Yahri is the Bih and she matches his energy for sure!! She gives I’ll cut a Bih energy 🤭. The journey to their HEA was good and i liked how Pharaoh checked all his old work to make sure Yahri knew she was the one and no one else compared! That club scene proved a point! 😆🤭Also new faces are revealed and the one I’m most curious about is Mint and she’s a bad a** Bih and I can’t wait to read about her! Overall I enjoyed this book and may circle back because I just enjoyed the journey of these two!! This book is a solid 4/4.5 for me but I feel that may change to 5 because I enjoyed this more than Bash! Definitely recommend and also please check TW at the beginning of the book!
Pharaoh & Yahri was too cute fighting feelings for each other. I enjoyed Bash & Cambri in this book as well. Gears deserved a worse death IMO. I can’t wait to read about Mint & why she’s so secretive
Pharaoh and Yahri's story owed me nothing; I really enjoyed it. I am a fan of motorcycle books because it's like a little world that I don't get to experience I often. Yahri needs protection after learning information about another MC club. She is the former daughter of the club's president and knew this was the safest place for her. Pharaoh didn't waste time offering to protect Yahri but it was pretty clear that their history and being in close quarters things were bound to get blurred. I liked the characters and the way that they handled each other. They communicated well and the chemistry was not forced. Ro was going to protect and stamp his woman and I was glad when they stopped playing with each other. I admired Ro's loyalty to Yahri's dad and the club, but he clearly loved Yahri more! This book has a good storyline, it flowed well. I enjoyed getting to see the love between the characters unfold. I am looking forward to more of the Wolf Warriors!
Yeah this book didn't do it for me. I was not tuned into the story. It didn't hook me I was bored honestly. Also I didn't care for Yahri. She acted real immature imo. There were also grammatical issues. All in all a very lackluster read for me.
This was so good. It was funny, but also full of tension & angst, a good storyline and a couple of twists. The main characters had good chemistry and were enjoyable to read. Pharaoh was a character but Yahri was definitely able to match his energy. This was a second chance romance, so it was definitely a journey, watching them work through their feelings & regrets to address their past, and also trying to figure out together what they wanted for their future. My only complaint is that i wanted to know who killed Yahri’s dad, and that wasn’t answered.😫I don’t know if the series is finished, because K.C. was clearly setting up for Mint to have a story. So I wonder if that question could be addressed in future books.
Pharaoh and Yahri.. two very strong main characters. Pharaoh and his temper, Yahri and her razor; I see why she’s yours 🤣😂🤣. I loved Yahri returning home to safety and Pharaoh getting some sense of balance between soft and hard. I wonder if we are going to get a book on Nic, Mint, Monk, Mello or another of the other characters. Do we ever find out who killed Koda? Overall this was a good book, nice to catch up with Cambri and Bash, Ms Leigh Bear is still running the show ♥️🫶🏾❤️
This is sort of a second chance encounter-first time romance in that Pharaoh and Yahri grew up together and have always had an attraction, but lost contact when Yahri’s MC boss father (and previous president of the Wolf Warriors MC) sent her away for her own safety. Now the Wolf Warriors are under new management and Yahri is in trouble such that they only place she can think to return to for safety is the Wolf Warriors. There, she’s met with a dubious welcome especially when it’s found out her caliber of trouble has to do with the biggest rivals of their MC.
This was cute in that Pharaoh and Yahri were both good communicators overall, and didn’t wait too long to agree about their feelings. I felt that the premise of Yahri returning to town under the circumstances she did being accused of informing on the rigal gang, was interesting. I loved the tension of wondering how the WWs were going to solve things. And the end product of the resolution was good. It just felt like there was a lot of waving the magic writers wand to resolve conflicts and tensions in the story. The ending felt rushed and convenient. I wanted to know HOW they resolved it, how do they know who it was that actually grassed on the rival gang’s illegal activity. For how deeply the set up was built, the resolutions felt shaky for me.
True to the MC romance sub-genre, this is a dark romance with a lot of gratuitous violence, misogyny and sexism, etc. Reader discretion is advised. If you’re experienced with MC romance like I am, this is probably on the tame to moderate spectrum of how dark MC romance can get. I liked it well enough overall for the cute love story between Pharaoh and Yahri.
Ok so Pharoah and Ri matched each other's energy. In book 1 I thought Padre had a secret baby but phew that wasn't the case. I think the club culture of property still made me uncomfy but a lot of it was talked through on page so it felt better. I do think it's interesting when org draw a line at certain activities i.e. I'm not going to put my hands on women but will bout them in their place Bash with Brooke and Ro with Arica. It's giving I only respect your humanity unless I care about you. Anyway overall I still enjoyed the grittyness of this series with the heavy dose of found family. I hope we get more installments Minty maybe???
CN: human trafficking, gun violence, death of a parent, domestic violence, torture
This was a tad bit better than Bash because we got a lot more history from both Ro & Ri, we got to know their story bit also getting familiar witj other members of the club so that's what elevated this one compared to Bash but both are exceptional.
My boy Pharaoh is all that. Add him to my book, bae's. He finally got his true love. Ri was trying to be tough, but she softened for her man, though. Still like me some Cambri and Bash. I need me a story on Mink. Good read
This book was just okay for me.. I preferred Bash's story more. Pharoah was a bit eh, to me...I was ready for the book to be done halfway in...big fan of Kc Mills, not a big fan of Pharoah and the leading lady..the chemistry wasn't there for me.
I thought I loved Bash, but Pharaoh takes the cake! This story was everything I didn’t even realize I needed. Pharaoh by K.C. Mills was rich, layered, and emotionally intense in the best ways. From the very beginning, it gripped me with its seamless blend of past and present. The flashbacks were placed so well, giving us just enough to feel the weight of what Yahri and Pharaoh had lost—and what still lingered between them. It wasn’t your typical second chance love story where two people magically pick up where they left off. It was deeper than that. You could feel Pharaoh’s unwavering love for Yahri in every scene, in every choice he made. His protectiveness wasn’t performative—it was who he was.
Yahri wasn’t just a love interest—she was layered and real. She carried her anger, her grief, and her strength with her every step of the way. Her pain wasn’t brushed aside for romance, and I appreciated that. She made Pharaoh work for her trust, and it was earned, not expected. When an unsavory situation forced her back into Pharaoh’s world, he didn’t just step up—he made it clear he was never stepping out of her life again. Their dynamic was intense, passionate, and full of that push and pull that only comes from a love that never truly died.
What really made this book stand out was that the romance didn’t exist in a vacuum. The plot had teeth. There were layers of secrets, betrayals, and danger that kept the story moving, and the way the Wolf Warriors were portrayed gave the MC world depth and emotion. They weren’t just a club—they were family, and that bond was evident in every interaction. We saw how their loyalty ran deeper than ink and leather. They bled for each other, stood for each other, and protected their own like a true brotherhood.
And can we talk about Koda? His storyline left so many unanswered questions and now I’m over here practically begging for a third book! I need to know what really happened. K.C. Mills did an amazing job at weaving tension into the narrative without making it overwhelming. Every character had a purpose, and every moment felt intentional.
If you’re looking for a story that blends steamy second chances with emotional depth, raw character development, and a gripping plot, Pharaoh is it. This isn’t just a love story—it’s a story about healing, loyalty, and reclaiming what was once lost.
Coming off a high with Bash's story, I was excited to dive into Pharoah. Less than halfway in, that excitement weakened, and by the time I hit 52%, I was ready for it to end.
Idk what it was, but the story just didn't intrigue me like I needed it to. It was a bit boring and drawn out. It took me three days to read it although it's only 300 pages.
I liked that there was a bit more action, but it seemed to drag after a while. I understood their romance being forbidden and her being upset about being sent away, but after the third or fourth time it was mentioned, it became an eye roll.
Newbie dying f*cked me up. I thought he was going to gain his colors. Once the plot twist came, it did catch my attention again. I feel as if Jarren deserved a more painful, drawn-out death after all the shit he pulled. Maybe I missed it, but we never found out who killed Koda. I like Mint, and hopefully, we can get a story.
There were MAJOR grammatical errors that you wouldn't expect from a seasoned writer, but I'm not petty enough to take away stars for that.
I'm happy they got their happy ending, though.

Pharaoh and Yahri don't owe me a thing. I didn't read the synopsis, so I wasn't sure what to expect, lol. I was pleasantly surprised. I was intrigued by not only their personal connection but the makeup of the club as well. Club business was just as compelling as Ri and Ro reconnecting.
Even though Ri had spent significant time away when she found herself wrapped up in trouble, she came back home, back to the place she knew she would be granted protection by. Back to the man that would give his life to keep her safe.
Ro was the perfect imperfect hero. He was a bad man, an enforcer, but their was still good left in his heart that resurfaced whenever Ri was around. Even when she put on a tough exterior and would try to buck against the rules, he still showed his soft spot for her. I wasn't sure how they were going to get to a HEA once the closet full of secrets was opened, but all worked out how it should. Highly recommend.
Ro and Ri had history. An unrequited love that stood to adulthood. The OG forbid their union. Distance and time did the rest. Now that Ri inadvertently got herself in some mess she has to run to the man who she knows can save her. Ro has been solo and living his life. He’s never claimed anyone. But in order for him to save her the property line has to be drawn. She doesn’t want to cross it - being a mans property is not something she’s down with. He is willing to pick up the property claim but only for her. ““Can’t say I like that much better than being referred to as property.” Elaine, Ms. Lanie as she preferred to be called, laughed lightly. “The name isn’t what’s important. It’s the meaning that holds all the value. No matter what you call us being loved by a man who honors his family, protects fiercely, and loves wholeheartedly is what matters and you have that.” In this case she betta be down “yeah you know me!”
This was good, again, but I am still partial to Bash, the oldest baby boy in this serie. Pharaoh was perfect in Bash’s but here he lacked warmth or something…. I was looking forward to his story but there is something that I couldn’t put my finger on it that made him look like a simp in this book. The danger aura he had in Bash’s was not there in this one. Here he was portrayed as a lonely man, not dangerous at all and not fun at all or exciting…. In any case, on a side note, Yahri wasn’t any better; she was like a petulant kid, jealous, insecure and completely immature. Nonetheless, 2 things is for sure: 1) I am a die hard fan of MS. Mills and 2) I do love a good biker gangster story and this one in this book was ok. We got more biker stuff in Bash’s than here… was low key annoyed. But that still doesn’t deter me from showing this amazing author her props…. You did this.
I love the Wolf Warriors MC, Pharaoh story was on point! The loyalty and respect that the bikers had for each other was exceptional. Pharaoh was that dude and Yahri was blessed to have him in her life! Pharaoh was a provider and protector, something that Ri needed more than anything, given her circumstance. The friendship between Bash and Pharaoh continues to be refreshing, blood couldn't make them closer. Cambri and Ri connection was so organic as well. Those who needed to be addressed were handled accordingly! I love how the WW MC protected their environment and surrounding areas. Great read and would love to see Ri and Pharaoh expand their family along with Cambri and Bash!
Wolf Warriors is Sons of Anarchy but make it black and better! Pharaoh and Yahri were cute but honestly I’m here for the Bash and Ro bromance!
I loved book 1 so seeing more of Bash and Cambri was a plus. Seeing more of Bash and Ro’s friendship in book 2 had me swooning for a different reason. The “you ride, I ride” thing just really pulled me in. They were so willing to go against any and everybody for each other it made the overall story 10x better!
Ro and Ri are a second chance at their first chance sort of deal. They wanted each other in the past but didn’t cross the line out of respect for Yahri’s father. I liked jumping into Ro’s past and his evolution with Ri. Their tag team with Gears was and her little incident with the razor were chefs kiss. They were definitely meant to be!
Pharaoh is rough, fine and alone. He elves this way and when the only woman he ever loved comes back for protection from the Devils biker club the Wolf Warriors will spare no expense. Yahri is beau still confused and angry that her dad who was the leader sent her away after her mom was killed. Through this story two people will rediscover each other, peel back layers of hurt, confusions and finally see each other as adults and a new light. Bash and Cam are still loving each other and enjoying watching this new love unfold. When the devils come for Yahri the warnings will not be enough as the vengeance gets stronger but the promise Pharoh makes to Yahri he means to keep. Enjoy this ride, it’s a keeper!!
Every bad boy has that one woman that can bring out their softer side and for Pharoah that was Yahri. They had history of sorts tied up in their loyalty and love for her father. It only made sense that when Yahri found herself in a bind that Pharoah stepped in. I loved Pharoah’s protective spirit and honesty, but he often carried the world on his shoulders so it was great to see how he evolved in his thinking and his self-worth. I loved how Bash was down for whatever, he was a true brother to Pharoah. The story had the perfect amount of love, badassedness, heroism, bad boy antics and drama to make it a five star read.
To have the occupation that pharaoh has within his MC you would think that he didn’t have any type of a “soft side“. However, this book proves you can both be the man in any room and soft for your woman. I love how he continuously reassured her that no other woman had had his heart, because ultimately he was waiting on that girl to come back home. Let’s all be real here. I like how she didn’t allow past trauma to really affect their relationship, because that could have held them back tremendously. One of my favorite things is they both clearly fell fast and hard and are all in from the jump. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend this book.
I thought Bash was the ish but Ro got my attention from when he appeared in Bash’s book and held it all the thru his own story. I also loved Yahri she was his match in every way even when shape was afraid she was fearless and held her own. I was a little sad about Newbie, I thought for sure he was gonna be around and have his own story to tell because eve with the small appearances in both stories his character is very likable. I’m definitely looking forward to reading about more members of this tight family group
I was so ready to read Ro story and it didn’t disappoint. Would it be a second chance romance or enemies to lover? Ri and Ro met when Ro started hanging with her father motorcycle club. Circumstances led to her father sending her away. Years later Ri return to her father’s MC for safety and protection. Now that they are reunited they finally get to have the relationship they missed out on years earlier. Don’t have to but would definitely read Bash book first.
Pharaoh is something else! I loved the back and forth with him and Ri. Ri’s previous relationship was a very well constructed lie. Her ex was a lunatic. When she found an opening she went to the ones who she knew could keep her safe. This also meant reconnecting with her childhood crush. To was a man about his business and his selective taste in women. But when Ri showed up, all others were shutdown. It’s a nice little rollercoaster ride with this one. Can’t wait to see who will star in the next one.
