I stared into the eyes of the Grim Reaper, only left to wonder if it was worth it.

Being in this life meant there were always risks associated with it. This wasn't the first time I was attacked, but I didn't know if I was going to make it through. But, somehow, I did. I made it through, but it didn't mean I made it out in one piece. I was lucky according to some, but the attack broke my body down more than I could ever imagine. I needed to heal, to give my body time to recover, and some of that recovery meant I was going to see a physiotherapist.
I didn't go into recovery looking for any sort of love. Sure, my brothers were finding their happy-ever-afters left and right, but not me. I was always the odd man out. It got to me in a way, and mentally I was fucked while I was at the facility.
Then, I met April. One look at her and I craved her like nothing else. Then she spoke, and I quickly discovered she was a drill sergeant. Over time, I got to know April personally and I grew attached. I was starting to think she might be the thing I've been missing in my life, and I think I was right.

The same circumstances that led him to being in the facility as my patient.
After a while, I figured out how to approach him, and we created a good working relationship with one another. Then, he somehow pulled at my heart strings. He knocked down every wall I'd ever built and before I knew it I was questioning everything.

A Quick MC Romance
We follow along in the Sons of Havoc MC series which is where Wrench’s story picks up. Wrench has survived an accident and meets his new physical therapist, April. These two hit it off right away and I loved watching them connect on all levels. The hitch in the story is the stalker that April has and Wrench is trying to protect the woman he is falling for.
I loved how the MC brotherhood was so family orientated. Another Sons of Havoc MC man I loved reading about. This was a quick read that gave me the HEA I was hoping for.

Wrench (Sons of Havoc MC #4) is an exceptional collaboration by Claire Shaw and Dee Garcia. Wrench is a fast paced quick read full of MC drama, violence, suspense with plenty of steam thrown in as you follow the emotional journey between Wrench and April.
Wrench is recovering from an accident when was attacked by an enemy MC leaving him fighting for his life and learns that he has a long road ahead of him and part of his recovery is that he has to work with a physiotherapist which leaves him angry and defiant. Wrench knows he must push himself in order for him to be a functional member of the Sons of Havoc MC so he agrees to work with a therapist. When Wrench meets his therapist April he is instantly drawn to her but finds she is bossy and strong-willed. April is a determined no nonsense young woman who meeting Wrench for the first time is fearful of this larger than life sexy man. As she begins to talk to him, she finds he is full of anger but April can tell he is having a hard time dealing with his disability so she will push him to his limits in order for him to recover. While working with Wrench, April has a patient who is starting to make her feel uncomfortable,Wrench sees the exchange and tries to intervene but April feels that she can handle the situation.
As these two work together they become close, Wrench's hard work pays off and he makes a full recovery and now finds that he will do all he can to have April in his life. With all of his brothers finding love, will Wrench finally have what his brothers have found? April finally sees a soft side to Wrench as he is able to knock down the walls she has built around herself and lets him into her heart. Wrench is the 6th book in the Sons Of Havoc MC: Texas Chapter series by Claire Shaw. This was a short instant love story. It was told quickly over the span of months.
Wrench is a member who was on a run with some of his brothers when they were ambushed and he was hurt the worse. He had a long road of recovery ahead of him to be able to ever ride again. When he gets to the final stages of his physical therapy he meets April his new physical therapist. He falls for her instantly when he sees her. April is having a hard time getting a patient to understand boundaries and things are happening to her. Wrench wants to be her knight in shining armor and save her from whoever is after her.
I gave this one a 2-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. I couldn't get into the story and by the time I thought it was getting better, it was over. I've liked the whole series so far but this one just fell short for me, unfortunately. I also wish it would have been longer. Wrench is a good character I would have liked to have seen more of.

If you have not read the others in the Sons of Havoc MC, you should start at the beginning to enjoy the story and where they guys have been. Wrench is shot and hits the asphalt when Wire is taken. If not for Tank he probably would not have survived. He has a long road to recovery, six months after the accident his is still physical therapy. His therapist is leaving and passing him on to another. When he sees her, he knows she is important to him.
April is not a shrinking violet and does not need to hide behind a man. She has a stalker that she does not feel she needs to burden anyone with. But has she and Wrench end their professional time, they move on to the personal.
As things heat up with her stalker, will Wrench be able to protect her?.

Love it. Wrench and April's story is a great addition to the series and once that is filled with danger, heat, determination and explosive passion that i did not want to put down.
Wrench found himself in the hospital after one of his brothers betrayed him. While recovering he finds himself taken by his PT, April. April enjoys her job, but sometimes her patients, Chase, can step over the line.
When April life is threatened, Wrench and his brothers are not going to let anything happen to her.
Great read and amazing character. Definitely one not to miss.

Sons of Havoc MC is a great series. It is wise to start with the first book because in other stories characters come back from other books. April meets Wrench when she helps him with Physical Therapy. They quickly grow closer but it's not without obstacles, because April has a stalker who is getting more and more daring and brazen, so Wrench decides to protect her and find out who her stalker is and that with the help of MC brothers. You are so glued to the story by the suspense and romance that you forget everything around you. This is definitely recommended.

I read the reviews and almost didn’t read this one. I think someone maybe got a bad download and then rather then re-download and actually read this book, they left a nasty review that isn’t true and a bunch just said they read and followed suite. This is 10 chapters long, not 2. It is short for my taste and it does irritate me when I get a story under 100 pages but this was a good story and it was complete so those that left nasty untrue remarks your reviews are all nonsense. Maybe actually read the book and change your rating as it’s unfair to the author.

First, this story is actually 10 chapters long. It is a quick one, however I do like the characters. Story picks up from TANK after they are ambushed. April and Wrench hit it off when she takes over his physical therapy appointments. April has a stalker and it isn’t hard to figure out who it is. Wrench is a pretty good guy. While he is concerned about her stalker, he isn’t steamrolling her about confiding in him. He is supportive though.

Not sure what’s happened to this series. Joker and Carries strength were such a good start and now the stories are getting shorter and less detailed and feel at times disjointed with mystery happenings referred to and unknown people suddenly apprearing
Despite this the story had a good execution and character background.
Good premise, execution needed some work though I would say.

He is obsessed with April and begins to reap havoc in her life. Will Wrench and his MC brothers be able to keep April safe? This story kept me glued to the pages.

Wrench has been injured and taking months to recover and his last therapist, April has had problems with one of her patients, Chad. Chad is a sixpack short of a carton, but April thinks he is harmless. Wrench offers to help her update her home security and his club becomes involved.

Wrench and April come in fast and furious, hot and heavy! These two take us on a whirlwind journey. They meet when Wrench has to have therapy and it's love at first sight. They blend together perfectly and the chemistry between them is off the charts. That and of course there's danger and excitement that follows to keep us glued to the pages. Wrench is an excellent fast paced, quick read!

Wrench needs some rehabilitation after his accident and April is assigned his physical therapy, sparks fly between them but he's not the only one after April and Wrench will go to any lengths to keep her safe. Well written steamy action, and more a great addition to the series.

Very fast-paced short story with sexy, supportive biker with protective streak who is determined as hell. But also hot and sexy, did I mention sexy? April is in danger being watched by an unknow stalker and Wrench is determined to help her, he offers her the security of his clubhouse.

Well done short story.
After all the bad reviews of an incomplete story, I waited a while to get this book. It was worth it. Although I am not a fan of short stories, this one is well written. Smooth reading and I didn't feel like I was missing anything. This was a complete story even if short. Highly recommended.

This book was a very entertaining read.
It was a quick afternoon read.
The story was written very good and had a very
good flow.
The main couple had great chemistry together.
Lots of intense MC action and adventure.

Wrench is a must read book that will take you on an amazing ride. In what can be considered a monotonous world of romance, Claire Shaw brings a fresh, gripping, up beat and at times heartwrenching perspective that is reinvigorating and exhilarating.

This is a well written short story with strong characters and a hot and steamy romance. The author fills the story with danger and romance and moves it quickly and smoothly, delivering an exciting read to the Sons of Havoc MC series.

This is a spectacular book. It is a quick and fun read. The characters stole my heart. Their story kept me on the edge of my seat! These two are two peas in a pod. Independent, stubborn and want their way in all things. Who will win the battle of wills? Can these two get a HEA? What will the price be? Is it too high? No spoilers! Check this book out! So glad I did! I love this series!

This is the fourth book in this fascinating series and this is Wrench and April's story. This is a well written story which has suspense, danger, intrigue, humour, emotions, twists,and love which all leads to a riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

Insta love!
I really liked this one. Wrench is one of the good ones and ended up hurt through no fault of his own. Enter April and the atmosphere gets super heated. Unfortunately April brushes aside a dangerous situation and disaster strikes, but friends are vigilant and disaster is averted. Need another one please.
