This is a very basic introduction primarily aimed at middle schoolers. It did however provide me with the very basic introduction that I wanted before I start reading more extensively in a subject I have not studied before.

This is an ok book if you are just looking for a very broad overview. Not many specifics and yet there are some words I had never heard before. Not one I would purchase.

I know this is targeted toward a very young crowd, but it really helped me to understand a few things that I coulnd't wrap my head around with regard to what a genealogical DNA test will tell me.
