Solid, concise, well organized, but a little repetitive in spots. A good primer for anyone contemplating adding a compost pile to their yard or garden. The only negative is the copyright date, 1992, because prices mentioned for tools and supplies are definitely outdated. That minor problem is easily remedied with online research into current prices.

This is a fairly good book on composting. The only issue is its age. A lot has transpired in the last decade + concerning recycling and goods available.
