After getting out of a magically abusive relationship, all I wanted to do was go to school and work. Living a normal life can’t be all that bad, but it wasn’t long before I was reminded how normal problems can be just as bad as paranormal ones.
If I was still using magic, my boss who just fired me would be sorry, but I’m not going to just fall back into just using magic to solve all my problems. That is, until I’m left without any other option.
Which reminds me of something I obviously desperate magic never really works out like it should.
When my spell goes horribly wrong, I figure that’s just the end of me. But with the way this man and his brothers are looking at me, I’m starting to wonder if it’s not the real beginning of me.
I love Paranormal... who doesn't? I spend most of my time reading and writing, but to keep my sanity - I love being outdoors. That's where my imagination goes wild.
This was a great story and I laughed out loud every now and then with the antics Samantha got up to. Samantha has just been fired and walked away without her tips and with no food she is hungry and goes to the convenience store where she is caught using her magic to buy food by an officer of the shifter force she gives him a sob story but before anything happens she makes a run for it using her magic but it doesn’t end well for her. William, Henry, Richard, Thomas are the Osbourne brothers and are bear shifters and work for the shifter force and while at the store William see’s a female using magic and approaches her she gives him some lamé excuse and uses a spell to escape but it doesn’t turn out well and later his brother Richard finds her and when she comes to she is in there home. They feed and take care of her and the longer she is with them the closer there all become and she falls for each one for different reasons which melts her heart. How does it all turn out and do they have a future together or not.

A good reverse romance story that's about Samantha and her four bears: William, Henry, Richard, and Thomas. Samantha fired from her job, broke, hungry, and desperate conjured a spell while at a convenience store to buy food, only William saw her using her magic. This was against the Code of Magic. Caught by William, Samantha tells her sob story and William decides to help her only Samantha decides to run. Later Samantha is found by Richard. What happens next is an engaging story that was enjoyable to read. I like the characters and their unique personalities, their romantic encounters sizzled, and the storyline was entertaining in this copy I received and that I volunteer to read and review.
When Samantha uses magic illegally, Richard goes after her. It will change the outlook of her life because when Richard connected with Samantha his bear is drawn to her. When he takes her home with him and introduces her to his brothers their bears feel it to. Samantha is being pursued by her ex-boyfriend's loan sharks for the money he owes. Will the Osborne brothers be able to keep her safe from them and her ex? This shifter story kept me glued to all the drama!

Four brothers all bear shifters who share a house together. The oldest brother was a police officer and going on a hunch, decided to go into a store. Where he found Samantha, performing a small spell on the clerk to "pay" for food. She knew she shouldn't, but she was down on her luck and needed food. This was her first crash course meeting him.
Nice details, not at all what I expected. At the very end of the story, they were together. Anticlimactic.
This is a short, action packed story with strong characters and an intriguing storyline. The author brings magic with Samantha and her four bear shifters and weaves a story filled with suspense, danger, anger and fear. It's a fated mates reverse harem romance, is well written with descriptive scenes, moves quickly and smoothly and is an enjoyable read.

This book held promise from the jacket description.
Sadly, the execution was lacking. Many thoughts/ideas were repeated. Things moved quickly without much world building. A lot of telling occurred versus showing. Instant attraction/connection (completely implausible) with no reasonable explanation. Not even a solid plot initially to keep my attention and help me try to connect to the characters. Overall, two-dimensional.
I couldn't finish this book, and I definitely can't recommend.
This book was okay. The characters were done well and the world building was great. It was a rather short story so that was good. The action and unpredictable twists and turns the story took were good as well. Last, but certainly not least was the very sweet HEA.

This book had real promise. There were a few typos and it made the flow a bit odd but that’s my OCD. 4 bears could have been super sexy but not at all. Also felt like there was something missing like I needed a Prequel or something. Good story line once I figured some things out. Quick read and if you like drama then read it. Not really romantic.
Great story and the characters were amazing. There was really spot going on,towards the end of the book things got kind of hinky, the magic was flying and the bears were killing .Read this story it's gooooood.
I couldn’t finish it. I wish I could say that it started off strong but it really didn’t. I wasn’t impressed with the story building, as it felt like nothing made sense. Then I got to about 80% in and whatever was going on at the end was just too much
The book skipped over all the important things. She meets the guys then poof it is two weeks later, and everyone is in love. No wooing. There is lots of telling and not showing and too many holes in the story. Seemed like a first draft.
Could not put this book down. Read it in a few hours. Great story. I would have liked to see more fighting with magic with the main character, but it was good.
