The level of awesomeness for this series continues in this volume. The art continues to both serve the story and not overwhelm the reader giving us enough action to keep the story moving along. As far as the story is concerned, it continues to be funny, and sad, and funny again. A seriously cute manhwa that keeps me coming back for more.
As the story progresses, our beloved Kum-ji Hwang deals with the repercussions of last volume's cliffhanger, and no she has not yet decided on the boy she loves, though in all fairness as of volume two, she was still quite smitten with Jin of D.D.L. but having spent some time with E-wan could her feelings be changing? I won't say, but I will say before the book is out our intrepid heroine gets a kiss, and a misunderstanding (Poor Kum-ji, should listen more carefully rather than constantly be lost in her own thoughts) leaves us with this books cliffhanger.
In this volume, Kum-ji gets kissed, gets a boyfriend, and we learn still more about E-soh and E-wan. Is there a possibility of jealousy there? Who knows, I haven't finished the series. But it is funny, and it is still cute. Chocolat is a cute, fun, still funny, romantic read.

In this volume, tensions in the band rise as E-Soh deals with jealousy and E-Won continues acting like a big old spoiled brat over his family problems. Meanwhile Kum-Ji is just clueless and obnoxious as always!

And here is where my original rating goes down a bit. I had soooooo much less patience with E-Soh's and E-Won's behavior this time through and I think they're both immature jerks. I do love how Kum-Ji defends herself against them though, and at least she has Jin and Pretty Boy Jin, who are both actually really nice. And the stuff with the Prez and with her best friend is pretty funny. But yeah, E-Soh and E-Wan both need a good smack upside the head or something.

I liked this one slightly better than the previous two volumes because the characters are becoming more interesting (are getting developed better) as they all start to show romantic interest in each other...

Needed something light to balance out the darkness of Death Note and Attack on Titan now that the adorable My Little Monster's is complete. This is just cute and fun and ridiculous. Life from a fangirl's perspective in a love triangle with k-pop idols. So goofy
