Chocolat vol. 5 was great. Though I saw it coming, I was still surprised at the end of the book.

This is still an awesome book. The story and the art keep getting better. The relationships keep changing, and moving forward. Though honestly, we do drop the whole storyline about E-Wan's extended family. E-Soh is still in love with Kum-Ji, and their relationship seems to be going some place cute, but by books end, *sighs* she confesses to E-wan she has feelings for him. Seriously? *sighs* Kum-ji don't be an ass be with the boy who loves you. Whatever. The story is still cute, E-soh is a hero before the books end, and we get to find out stuff about him too.

More mysteries, more adventures, and a lovely story that keeps progressing, even though it is the slowest development in this book though. Let's go on to the next chapter and see what happens next. I love this book still. Still funny and full of heart.

I enjoy this series. I felt bad for Kum-ji in this. She gets beat up in this volume but E-Soh comes to help her out. It is sweet him trying to take care of her. Also E-Wan doesn't feel real well in this volume and Kum-ji just happens to be there to see E-Soh so he makes her runs errands for him. Kum-ji confesses to someone that she likes him. Who was it. You will have to read the volume to find out.

A rather slow volume with past plot threads pretty much dropped. What's with E-Wans family? Hopefully they will be cleared up in the next three volumes.
Still need more Wu Hee. And music. And where is DDL???
