As a happily married person myself, I always find it refreshing to read stories involving happily married couples. If those stories are erotic, it’s even better!
Alison Tyler has put together a fantastic collection of short stories that star married couples in some hot situations.
With This Ring I Thee Bed has something for everybody. Stories feature role playing, ménage (plus one), bdsm, and much much more.
Some of the stories I liked better than others. Some really stood out to me. One in particular involved two couples and a camera; ‘nuff said. What was so great about this collection is that I found myself picking it up in between chores at home, running errands, or even at work. The only problem in that was when I had to put it down and didn’t want to.
Personally, I think this would make a great gift for a bride at her bridal/lingerie shower or even a sexy bachelorette party gift. After reading a few of these stories, I was very thankful I had my own husband to create my own “book” of erotic stories with.
So grab a glass of wine and kick back and relax while reading this. Or better yet, read them aloud in the company of your home husband/wife!!

Let’s just be thankful that I’m in my forgiving mood, or I would have condemn this book just for the cover alone. You see, ‘ With This Ring, I Thee Be Wed’ is an erotica. Yes, you’re reading this right. It’s an erotica. Don’t be fooled by the sweet, innocent appearance of the book. You’d be extremely surprised if you’re expecting a sweet, innocent and all warm and fuzzy romance out of this one. Because while the book is honeyed with romance and happily ever after, it is not innocent. It is far from that.

This book is a collection of erotic stories on marriage couples who are making the best of their ‘To have and to hold’ part of their wedding vows. There’s a lot of naughty and provocative sex scenes as well as fantasy fetishes.

If you’re looking for ideas to sweeten up your marriage a little bit, you might consider using this book as a reference.

I give this book a 3 star. Why 3 stars and not 5 when the stories are absolutely provocative and nice to read? Well, the cover does not reflect what’s inside the book, it is rather… deceiving. And I don’t like that. Some people may not read the product description on the back of the book, and God forbids a minor picked this up, thinking it’s some sort of innocent young adult book.

This is my first foray into Alison Tyler territory, though for a while there I had my eye on (and still do) her book Alison’s Wonderland. With This Ring I Thee Bed is an erotic anthology all centered around the general theme of weddings. And smut. Glorious, unbridled smut. There’s something in here for everyone, be it traditional or kinky (and everything in between).

I enjoyed most of the short stories, but my particular favorite was Racing to the Altar by Sommer Marsden. It involved a speeding bride on her way to the church and a particularly thorough cop. The ending was what really made it for me, though, and I can’t give it away or I’ll ruin it for you.

There were quite a few stories that had me saying, “damn it, why didn’t I think of that!” for my own wedding day. *giggles with evil grin*

With This Ring I Thee Bed is a thoroughly steamy, wickedly sensual treat. It’s the perfect read to get you in the mood, or perhaps to even read together with your partner. I had a blast with this book, typically reading one or two short stories as an aperitif for bedtime. Nothing like falling asleep with a smile.

This is quite a collection of short stories with matrimony as the theme. Be warned, some are kinky and may have you blushing if you're not used to these types of stories. I thought they were all cleverly written and really enjoyed them.

In this sizzling new treasury, erotica maestro Alison Tyler has assembled over two dozen titillating tales of couples taking each other to new heights of happily bedded bliss.

Imagination and experimentation are the watchwords as sexy spouses live out fantasies both intimate and elaborate: naughty new settings, new toys…even new partners. There are virgin brides, wicked wedding nights, impetuous swingers and some kinky couplings that give “tying the knot” a whole new meaning!

Seductively spun by such genre luminaries as Kate Pearce, Kristina Wright, Cheyenne Blue, Portia Da Costa, Rachel Kramer Bussel and Janine Ashbless—plus a teasing little tale from the editor herself—these stories prove that the honeymoon is just the beginning!

Author bio:
One of the pioneers of the current erotic romance genre, Alison Tyler has authored more than twenty-fi ve novels, recently compiled and edited her fiftieth erotic short story collection, and her own stories have appeared in over one hundred anthologies. She is loyal to coffee (black), lipstick (red) and tequila (straight). She has tattoos, but no piercings; a wicked tongue, but a quick smile; and bittersweet memories, but no regrets. Alison lives with her husband in California and is currently working on her next anthology for Spice Books.

I can never refuse an anthology edited by Alison. They are just too good. For some reason, I thought this had a paranormal element to it, but nope, just love, romance, weddings and hot, hot, well-written lovemaking. Then I was thinking what does a young woman ( and some guys) fantasize about more than her wedding? Some even fantasize about marriage. Sadly, like a fairy tale the actuality of both weddings and the marriage are nothing like the fantasy. Excellent erotic fantasists like Alison bridge the gap between our dreams and our realities. Sometimes Alison's work can be helpful in keeping a dream alive.

One thing I admire in the anthology are two pieces of gay erotica around this topic. While everyone fantasizes about weddings and marriage, it is only recently that homosexuals have had any ability to realize that dream. I hope this trend towards equal civil rights continues so that eventually a mention in an anthology won't be called for because no one will think any differently of love between persons of any gender.

Alison is really good at putting stories together that at once seem like a thread, but also feel like the individual stories they are. Honestly, I will take any excuse to read her anthologies, and I even had my husband read a few of these stories. Couples, menages, an ex-lover crawling through your window, BDSM—there's enough variety for any reader! And, if it is heat you seek, Alison will provide the pilot light and the fuel— but you need to bring the stove. I enjoyed most stories here are a few standouts: Janine Ashbless' Foresaking All Others struck a nerve, it is just so, and I mean this in the best way, perverse. Jax Baynard's I Married a Gigolo was filled with twists and new ideas. It was one I had my husband read. ADR Forte's RItes of Passage was unusual and provocative. I didn't really enjoy Cheyenne Blue's Mother of the Bride, mostly because I am "of an age." It was well written but a bit too Neil Simon-esque for me.

Am I off genre? Most likely I am, and I don't care. Once in a while, we all need fantasies that don't involve the future, parallel universes, elves, fae, witches, shifters or vampires. Sometimes our fantasies involve nothing more than white lace, silk pumps. frosting and the person(s) we love.

Great shower present; awesome shower present! Good for the first anniversary, which is paper after all.

This collection of 25 Erotic Romance stories are, as the title suggests, written around the theme of marriage, especially weddings. Since there's so much in the way of sexual undercurrents around weddings and marriage, it's a perfect theme.

There are stories on the bride and groom getting naughty just before the ceremony starts; stories of the bachelor and hen's night and the honeymoon; and one great story about a marriage about to end in divorce that gets a timely second chance. Most of the authors are women but there are a few male authors here too, and two stories from the editor, Alison Tyler.

I enjoyed quite a few of the stories, but the ones that take place just before the wedding ceremony grated on me a bit because the characters kept focusing on all those ridiculous traditions and superstitions that so many people still insist upon. I get stressed just watching those TV shows around weddings, where people make themselves miserable because they insist on doing things a certain way for no real reason except lack of imagination. I had hoped the authors of this anthology would have a bit more fun with the wedding theme rather than simply staying within the confines of safe and normal.

Some of the stories are definitely racier than others. There are a couple of gay stories here too, which was a good addition even if they tended to lose out to the heterosexual norm (within the stories), which just made me feel sorry for the characters. About halfway through I worried about my choice in getting this book - I'm really not a fan of weddings at all, especially the traditional kind, so it was the kind of book I could only pick up for short stretches of time before giving myself a rest, or I'd feel too swamped by wedding crap. For one or two at a time, though, it was fun.

Alison Tyler brings us a collection of wedding stories that appeals to every person. There is definitely something for everyone in one, some, or all of the stories put together. This extraordinary collection of erotica celebrates the institution of weddings, marriage, and the love between two(or more) people in all its forms, from passionate and sweet to the intense longing for sexual desire.

The beauty of this anthology is that not one story is the same. It's about one person who love another with a standard and traditional them or with a twist. The well-written stories entertains as well as stimulates and titillates the imagination.

Every scenario is told through the different authors in this anthology. You have scenarios that describe the anxious couples before the wedding ceremonies begin to the beautiful intimacy of the wedding night. As each story is told, and every scenario imaginable is told, the stories from the straight into the more erotic. Bland male-female isn't your cup of tea? Don't worry, there is female-female, male-male, and multi-person fantasies that includes everyone from the Bride and Groom to the unexpected guests.

There were many stories that I loved and enjoyed and some that I didn't care for. The authors were talented and definitely challenged the bland scenarios in my brain.

Grab a glass of wine, get comfortable, and enjoy an intimate moment with this book.

Don't be fooled by the cover! This compilation of sexy, seductive stories smashes the stereotypical wedding day fantasies. From the first short story to the last, this book shows over and over again that just because you're a blushing bride doesn't mean you can't be the sultry temptress we all have lurking inside us. From the fun and flirty to the hot and kinky, there is something for everyone in this collection.

Included are stories of fantasies played out, multiple partnerships, menage trois, BDSM and gay erotica. Whatever your fancy is, there's something in here for you!

Isn't it a beautiful cover? So sweet and innocent, but if you are familiar with Alison Tyler, you know what's inside isn't.

If you are looking for erotic romance, this is your book. With This Ring, I Thee Bed is a collection of short hot stories by different authors, focused on weddings, with lots of naughty and provocative sex, and usually a happy ending. Some of the stories were too much for me, but I still enjoyed them.

I have only read Alison's Wonderland edited by Alison Tyler and really liked it, all of the stories being naughty fairy tales. I also liked With This Ring, I Thee Bed, I liked the idea of all the stories being related to a wedding. I'm sure I'll read another of her books when I need to read something naughty.

I really enjoy short stories. This was a large collection of ~10 page stories centering on a wedding theme. As usualy with anthologies, it was a bit hit and miss. In the end, though I went with a grade of 4, because there were some real standouts for me.

My favorites include:
Racing to the Altar by Sommer Marsden
A Lucky Wedding by Thomas S. Roche
Forsaking All Others by Janine Ashbless-
Strippers and Cigars by N.T. Morley
Something Blue by Shanna Germain-
Anniversary Waltz by Portia Da Costa
Love, Honor, and Obey by Rita Winchester
Taking Vows by Kristina Wright

The ones I really didn't care for were about cheaters and cheating, which I really didn't enjoy.

Some of the stories in this book were sexy, some were very forgettable, all of them were very, very short. It's hard to really love a book when each story is under 20 pages long. I liked the premise and characters of several of them, and would have liked to have been able to read more. Kind of lightweight in terms of erotic reading, though.

This book is filled with stories that center around weddings. Some of them are sweet, some are funny, some are sad, but all of them are full of sexy fun. There are also every conceivable pairing of people along with any situations. All in all it was a fun read!
