Crymsyn is a multi-genre author of horror and paranormal romance novels.
Her experiences as a psychic has given her a lot of material to use in her books. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her hubby and her dog Briar. Her guilty pleasures are horror movies, peanut M&Ms, and cheesecake.
Crymsyn Hart does it again with excellent writing in her story telling with the dark side of this Urban Fantasy/Paranormal tale. The creativity of the dark side of vampires still lives among the humans though some may have succumb to a more gentle side of life without the gory kill of hunting prey.
In this world, Madi, a human female has a life full of darkness all around her but strives to live day to day until one day she is saved from a mugging by one of the creatures of the dark “Keaton”, a creature who brings her darkness into light as he reveals to her that she is his destined mate.
However, there is more to her than what meets the eye for she is a human that can draw in the dark forces within her and can block out the mind melding and control of other dark creatures.
This is one story that will grab your interest by the second page as Crymsyn gives us a view of what it’s like to live on the dark side and to add to it, the erotica scenes are hot.
read this one as a void filling story between novels. I have to say I liked it so-so. I liked their bond, though thought it was a little superficial sex attraction. I thought it was a REal shame on the author when the only nice guy in the story except for the hero had to be killed. I not being a fan of massacre on characters thought his death was highly unnecessary to make the point. He was not mothers prettiest, but he was a nice and dependable guy , and a great cook. He could have been badly wounded to still make the point. The villain got off the plate quite easily, which is a bit of an anti-climax. The question remains: What is so special about the heroine? She's obviously a lil different from other vamp/human but does it really matter?....
