I decided to read The fame game and me by Kimberly Greene because its bright pink cover standed out and when I read the blurb I wanted to know what happened next!

This book is about a girl called Sam Devine and her crazy chaotic life because of her pop star sister Danni Devine. Danni has to deal with competition from a new pop star called Harley who is bad mouthing her and saying mean things about her in the press and this is all happening on there very own reality T.V show 'The Devine Life'. With all the whirlwind of cameras following them around and bad things from the press, Sam has also found out a family secret. (Sams dad died in a car crash before she was born) so unfortunately Sam and her family haven't met anyone in the family on her dads side this is until Sam finds a hidden box in their house and inside is a ring and a photo of her Dads mum and dad with their names on the back so they manage to track down there grandad and get to go on a trip to England to meet him! But what the Devine family doesn't know is that Dannis manager Robert has gone behind Dannis back and booked her to do a sing off against her rival Harley while they are in England which causes a lot of drama!

I couldn't find a favourite quote in the book, but what I learnt from this book is that even when your feeling down or people are being mean just keep going because it will get better just try to have fun even when times are hard! This is how I feel the main character Sam was because even though she had to deal with her sister being a popstar, meeting her grandad, having everything on camera and things being edited to make her look bad, She still tried to stay upbeat and happy which I think is very important!

I would definatly recommend this book to anyone who wants a book that is a fun with a little drama and mystery

I liked this book. It was okay and the story line was nice, but kind of shaky in my opinon.
