Tamara de Lempicka, a Polish artist, travels to Italy in 1927 to paint the portrait of Gabriele D'Annunzio, an Italian poet under house arrest by the Fascists
It was a good read. Lots of odd characters doing odd things. The book was more about how weird Gabriele D'Annunzio was then anything. Tamara seemed to be the character holding the plumb line. I'm greatful I read the book because of who gave it to me. I realize after I finished the book it was a complement from him. Thanks Dallas.
