Most Inconsistent story lines I've ever read in a book. The only reason I'm even giving it a 3 star is because I enjoyed the gore. The author definitely has potential. I think I would see what another of his books are like?? I think...

There's honestly just too much wrong with this book to give a good review that might would help the author with future books.

Spoiler alert...

Eyes roll into the back of the head... A lot.

The storyline with the deaf mute girl was totally unrealistic. If she never could hear, how did she know how things would sound? How did she hear gunshots? Etc. So much inconsistency with Lizzie. Even at the end of the story it says that she could hear her dad abusing her mom, then in the next paragraph it says that she can't hear anything. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I didn't know that thorns could cause so much pain to someone...

Who is Benjamin? It's like you're missing important parts of the story at times, which makes it confusing.

Story took quite the turn once Poke was introduced. Characters were introduced that you knew nothing about, but probably should have to be able to understand what was going on.

Oh dear... Now the deaf mute praying has Telekinesis?? And why would the mom care if the doll is ok??

I guess Carla's ankle healed miraculously.

Pretty sure the gun didn't hold 17 bullets.
