Book seven in the Ra’s Chosen series. After watching all his warriors find their mates, Ra wants nothing more than to find his own. How hard can it be? He’s an Egyptian god, for crying out loud. Women should fall at his feet—and into his bed. When he discovers his destiny, he’s flabbergasted that she doesn’t accept him at the word go. He must wrap his head, and arms, around this mortal woman. Fast.Shanda doesn’t want a man right now. No way, no how. But when the sexy stranger shows up at her museum, her sex-starved body doesn’t care. It wants him…posthaste. She might have a chance in hell of resisting him, if he’d only stop kissing her. With the pressure of having to tell Shanda what he truly is, Ra bumbles the job left and right. Very un-godlike. And when she does everything she can to stay out of his bed and his life, Ra must win her over the only way he knows how. With seduction.

What does a god do after he has won the battle to keep mortals safe and seen all of his warriors find their mates? Go in search of a mate of his own. Ra has done more than keep mortals safe and now that everyone else he cares about has found love he has discovered that he longs for it as well. While out on his search Ra meets Shanda and quickly finds out that she is his mate. After many years of searching he is not ready to lose her now but his first attempts to win her over quickly fall short.

I enjoyed Ra from the previous books in this series but he really endeared himself to me in this book. We get to see more of his personality and what makes him unique. I loved seeing him try to win over Shanda only to be knocked down a peg or two. His reaction to her dismissal had me laughing out loud and had Shanda winning me over right than and there. She is going through her own problems and when Ra enters the picture he just adds to them. Even though Shanda has problems she is still standing on her own and trying to fix them, showing what a strong person that she is. The sparks are there from the start between these two and seeing the bond form between them was a great read.

There may not be as much of the intensity that was in the warrior’s books because Ra does not have to deal with the demons and such but this book is full of emotion. The depth of Ra as a person was a wonderful read.

This story was a nice ending to the series. After seeing all the Chosen get their mates it was nice to see Ra get his happy ever after. Although we get to see a few important characters from the series in this book it would have been nice to see all of the warriors and their mates reaction to Ra finding his mate. I loved watching Takan and Falon help Ra with his mate. They truly want to see Ra find happiness. I am happy and sad to have finished this book as well as the series of Ra’s Chosen. I loved every single book and found Ra’s Hunger to be a wonderful and sweet ending to the series.

Ra’s Hunger is a good short read. Wish it had been a little longer.

Ra is an Egyptain sun god and he is looking for his mate. He’s been looking for centuries, until one day he walks into a museum and see’s Shanda. Shanda has just been the last six months getting her life back on track and finding a man is the very last thing she wants.

The characters in the book have all kinds of different feelings. Ra wants to give Shanda all he has to just be his mate, but he’s scared to tell her the truth of what he truly is. He has loved in lost in the past. Just imagine a god being afraid of a mortal woman. Shanda you can tell has feelings for him but she doesn’t want to give in. The love they have for each other is out of this world.

I wish that this book had been longer. Give Ra and Shanda enough time to really fall into love, instead of doing it all in less than a week. I do love how he brings in reinforcements to help him. Just goes to show you that a god doesn’t always know what to do. When it comes to love everyone always needs a little help.

Ra’s Hunger is part of a series of books by Marisa Chenery. In this story we get to find out what happens to Ra when he finds his mate. Ra’s Hunger is a little shorter than the other stories in the series, but there is still some great interaction between the main characters of the story and the secondary ones from previous stories.

If you have been waiting to find out what kind of woman Ra ends up with then you won’t want to miss his tale. Shanda finds it hard to love after what she’s been through, so Ra just has to work that much harder to win her over to him. They share some erotic love making that will have you wishing Ra could mate a couple times.

If you haven’t read the other books in the series, then I recommend that you read them first for there are several spoilers in this story.

It has been a little while since I read this book but here is what I recall...

I love the series!! Yummy romance involving paranormal elements. Plenty of steamy action and a touch of humor!

Definitely a series to get into! I started it and didn't stop until I reached the last book that was released! I am always looking for the next book!

If you like steamy supernatural romances this is a series to look into!!!!

I liked that Ra found a mate for himself in the end....this book is VERY SHORT (60 pages)....would have been a nice "free read".

I expected a bigger finish. After all Ra is a god! What a disappointing ending to the series.

I was a little disappointed because the story was so short and there wasn't really much of a plot to it. I'm glad I waited to buy it on sale.
