3.5 stars First off the blurb in this one is misleading. The heroine really doesn't suspect the hero but when she finds him with a note in a missing shipment she does think he may know something or someone involved. Hero has been widowed three years and loved his wife forever who was a gentle and kind woman. The heroine on the other hand is different, she is assertive and plucky. He finds himself attracted to her and confused as well. He doesn't want to get involved. As has the case been in this series the romance does move at a super accelerated pace but it didn't bother me as much in this. Overall this entire series was nice but forgettable.
Mise à part «l’instant love», j’ai trouvé l’intrigue très intéressante. Un peu clichée, mais captivante. Le fait que le livre était court nous laisse rarement sur des temps morts. Bref, ce fut une bonne lecture, mais pas époustouflante.
I liked this book. The story was good. A twist you might or might not see coming. It's not raunchy, but there are a few steamy scenes, not very descriptive.
the story was great and all even with the action, but on Chapter 8 there was a sentence that didn't make sense. Must have been that the author was writing to fast and scrambled the words wrong.
