this book was well written and one of the few books where I was wrong about the end and it took me by suprise. would recommend to anyone that likes to solve a good crime book but is not afraid to admit they were wrong in the end.

The best of Connelly's thriller. Bosch series couldn't stand with that book. Lincoln lawyer series can fight with The Poet, but in the end the latter would win.

Very readable with a good twist at the end. There were many times when i didn't want to put the book down.

serial killer is at large. His targets: homicide cops, each haunted by a murder case he couldn't crack. The killer's calling card: a quotation from the works of Edgar Allan Poe. His latest victim is McEvoy's own brother. And his last...may be McEvoy himself.
