About the author

I always thought I had been born a hundred years too late, but I do appreciate air conditioning, computers and other conveniences of modern day living. I love the slower pace of New Bern, North Carolina as well as the history and small town community. Imagine a neighborhood where people wave at one another and keep eye out for the children. It's like living in the 1950s. In addition to dreaming up my next story, of which there are always two or three in the works, I enjoy reading everything from children’s books to romance to mysteries to vampire adventure, singing in my church choir and needle-weaving.

Winter got beaten up by his ex, his sister sent him help - twin ahifters who happened to be his mates. The fell in love immediately, and planned a long time commitment within hours of meeting for the first time. And here's the thing: I hate insta- love, because it is almost never done right. I don't feel the connection between the MC's, the sex felt mechanical and in the end I just scanned the last few pages because I was bored to death.

Das ist eine der absurdesten Geschichten, die ich je gelesen habe. Chaotischer Schnelldurchlauf trifft es wohl am ehesten. Dabei ist der Plot doch richtig klasse und durch die Irischen Wolfshund - Wandler auch herrlich erfrischend.
Pah! Falsch gedacht.

Die zentrale Rolle spielt der Autor Winter, der von seinem Ex-Freund zusammengeschlagen wurde. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte ich noch Mitleid mit ihm, als ich aber erfahren habe, warum sein Ex das getan hat, war das schnell vom Tisch. Winter hat ihn per Mail abserviert, weil er ihn nicht erreichen konnte. Hallo?! Geht es noch unpersönlicher? Diese Scott war wohl auch kein Heiliger, aber so was geht ja mal gar nicht. Das ist ja noch schlimmer, als jemanden per SMS abzuservieren.
Sorry, aber das hat er irgendwie verdient. Ich hätte ihm auch eine geknallt.
Scott hat es dabei jedoch übertrieben. Prellungen und zwei gebrochene Arme sind schon heftig.
Anfangs leidet Winter auch noch, als die zwei Adonisse und eineiige Zwillinge Garrett und Hawk in sein Leben treten, die seine Schwester zu seiner Hilfe geschickt hat, ändert sich das allerdings schlagartig. Plötzlich kann er Türen öffnen (Knauf), sich für den Sex selbst vorbereiten, seine Beine bis unter die Achseln ziehen - und das nur knapp einen Tag nach der Tat. Macht natürlich Sinn *headdesk*
Aber so geht es pausenlos weiter, dabei ist das Buch gar nicht so lang.
Winter liegt in einem Moment mit beiden Kerlen im Bett und kann es gar nicht erwarten, ihnen einen zu blasen, kurze Zeit später sitzt er ihnen in einem Café gegenüber und ist total verschüchtert. Hat Angst, den beiden zu erzählen, dass er mit schwulen Liebesgeschichten sein Geld verdient. Fürchtet sich sogar davor, dass sie ihn schlagen. Hä?
Und was ist? Die beiden sind die allergrößten Fans des begnadeten Autors. Wer hätte das gedacht?!
Einen Tag später zieht er zusammen mit den beiden nach Sanctury, wo auch seine Schwester mit ihren beiden Zwillingsgefährten wohnt.
Alles ist toll, tja, bis sein Ex auftaucht, der ihn unbedingt zurück will. Und was macht Winter? Er lässt nicht seine zwei Gefährten auf ihn los, nein, er macht das selbst und verprügelt Scott mit zwei Gipshänden. Das stelle ich mir SEHR schmerzhaft vor.

Und warum werden in dieser Familie nur männliche Nachkommen geboren? Bevorzugt Zwillingspärchen.

Mir fällt dazu echt nichts mehr ein.

Who could ever imagine that getting beat up and left with casts on both arms could be the best thing that could ever happen to you? Winter Ryan might be having a run of bad luck when it comes to boyfriends but when he asks his sister for help he gets double his pleasure in the form of two very sexy twins. I wished I was Winter.

This story had a new interesting element to it being that the Sullivan family are Irish wolfhounds and seem to only have twin boy offspring. Like most shifters they mate for life. I’m a fan of romance stories that have a sexy hero and in this story we get two. Identical twins they might be but they have completely different personalities. It’s nice that the author made each man his own person. When it comes to caring for Winter each has their own strengths they bring to the relationship.

Garrett and Hawk come to Winter's rescue and immediately the sexual attraction is leaping off the pages. Yes Winter is getting over being beaten but the pull he has for the twins is undeniable. Both men are loving and caring with Winter so the fact that this man just suffered a trauma didn’t take away from the budding love growing between them.

The story has several steamy sex scenes that will leave you fanning your face. Winter and his Twins is a short story and a very fast paced read. There are internal struggles for Winter when it comes to having a boyfriend let alone two. Plus moving to a new town where he meets his mates' family has Winter on edge at first. Sanctuary is a perfect name for this hidden away little town because it becomes a safe haven for Winter.

The author weaved together personal struggles with just enough love and compassion to make an exciting love story. Winter and His Twins is a delightful read that I highly recommend.

Insta -lust/love for the twins when they meet Winter, their Mate.
I was just sort of surprised Winter totally accepted and was pretty thrilled to have twin wolfhound mates, never questioned it or gave it a second thought. Maybe because his sister had the same thing going?
All is perfect and easy conflict free, even the evil ex is dealt with easily.
Not much plot, just sort of fluffy sweet light reading with a lot a sex thrown in. :)

Sweet and uplifting are the words I'd use to describe this book. Winter's abuse and hardship is mostly in the past, and this story focuses on him finding love and acceptance with Garrett and Hawk. It enables him to stand up to his tormentor, which made for satisfying closure. Very funny in places, with lots of references to the life of a romance author, this book made me smile.

Loved this book. Winter is so sweet and accepting, and his twins... well... hot doesn't begin to describe it! One of the things I loved most about this book is how Winter discovers his own strength and passion when faced with adversity.

Short, simple, and sweet. This wasn't a bad book but it was so rushed. There was insta-love with everything happening at once. Don't get me wrong, I do like some insta-loves but this one didn't work for me. Winter was just too accommodating. He is abused badly but has no doubts about the twins. Also for all his injuries he seemed to get better quickly. Bruised ribs don't feel real good that quick. Most of the medical part just wasn't realistic.

I also never attached to the characters. I just, well, didn't really care much. Enjoyable read just felt a little flat.

Winter And His Twins is a paranormal romance. This is a M/M/M menage romance and an ADULT read. This is also a quick read, a great choice for those with limited reading time. Winter, Garrett and Hawk's story is a fun shifter read. Winter AndHis Twins is book 2 of the Welcome to Sanctuary Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Diese Geschichte ist süß und sexy. Trotz einer nicht so schönen Erfahrung kann sich Winter komplett fallen lassen, als er auf seine Gefährten trifft. Schön geschrieben, ordentlich Tempo....wie das halt bei Wandlern so ist 😁

The dialogue and reactions of the characters were lame. The MCs' characters nor their relationship were developed. The sex was dull.

I love the m/m/m dynamic, so I singled this book out of the series to read first. The whole story spans just a couple of days in terms of a timeline, so it doesn’t leave a lot of room for depth in the development of the story or characters. I’m sure the other books help to develop more about their home location which is Sanctuary, but each is about different main characters so I still would have liked to learn more about Garrett, Hawk and Winter, especially after Winter was fully recovered from his ordeal. Short, sweet and left me wanting just a bit more!

This book contains Shifters M/M/M Menage and lots of indepth gay sex scenes.
When Winter is attacked by his ex-boyfriend he sends a message to his sister Spring to let her know. Spring calls Garrett and Hawk twin brothers who also happen to be Irish Wolfhound shifters to check on her brother. When Garrett and Hawk approach Winter's apartment they realize they finally found their mate. This book is steamy, yummy and OMG I WANT ME A SET OF TWINS! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

To start off I must tell you this is 18+ read :D It is M/M/M and very HOT. Twin brothers rush off to help Spring's brother Winter. Once they arrive they find out he is their mate. Wow talk about hot sex, these three have plenty off it :D Wonderful erotic short, with outstanding characters and truelly hot sex scenes. :D Read this you will not be dissapointed.
