103 books714 followersShungiku Nakamura (中村春菊 Nakamura Shungiku?, born December 13,1980) is a Japanese yaoi manga artist. She is most famous for creating Junjo Romantica: Pure Romance. Shungiku Nakamura's distinct style of manga has been identified largely throughout Japanese and English yaoi fanbases. Her works usually include large age gaps between the seme and uke and characters with careers in the publishing industry (as depicted in Junjo Romantica and Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi). She often cowrites with Fujisaki Miyako, who authored the novels of Yoshino Chiaki no baai in Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi.

After a little drama, Misaki finally got the job at Murikawa publishing. He and Usagi got the chance to keep an eye on Takahiro's baby Mahiro and hilarity ensued :D
We got to see Misaki finding out that Usagi and Hiroki know each other (Hiroki is his teacher at the university) :D The drawings in the manga are even better :D
And we had one more misunderstanding with Hiroki and Nowaki, but they got through it!

Misaki had some realistic problems for once (I don’t know why he didn’t expect people to know he knew Usagi or for the CEO/whatever he is to show up?…..). Egoist was cute. Of course I love it whenever there are crossovers between the chapters!!
Usagi, are you going to explain to Misaki how you had sex with Hiroki one time and pretended he was Takahiro?…..

Me ha encantado el arco de la búsqueda de empleo de Misaki! En este tomo se trata el tema del mundo editorial japonés (tema que me fascina), que precisamente es uno de los puntos fuertes de otra obra de la autora, "Sekaiichi Hatsukoi".

Las entrevistas de trabajo de Misaki están en marcha, y aunque tiene miedo decide poner todo de sí para que estas salgan muy bien.
Y la respuesta de la editorial llega sorprendiendo tanto a Misaki como a Usagi, pero en serio esa parte me dio risa como es que no confiaban?!!

Lo leí hace semanas, pero me dio paja hacer la reseña en el momento de terminarla. Asi que lo haré ahora jaja.
¡Que hermoso tomo! Este puede entrar en mi top 5 de tomos favoritos.
Este tomo se centra en la finalización de varios temas que habian empezado en los tomos anteriores que YA queria saber la resolución de estos, como por ejemplo la entrada de Misaki a la editorial. Desde el tomo 12 estamos así y poder ver todo el proceso que pasó Misaki hasta llegar a este punto me encantó mucho mucho.
Me pareció súper tierno como fue la escena de como llegó su carta de aceptación. AME💖
Luego de eso, las cosas tranquilas. Frutifantastico por aqui, por allá jaja.
Con respecto a la relación de Misaki y Usagi, esta va aumentando cada vez más. En el sentido de cada uno, a pesar de que se celan como unas gatas, se va comprometiendo un poco más, hasta llegar al punto de tocar devuelta el tema de blanquear su relación ante al hermano de Misaki, cosa que es un tema súper delicado, pero se ve que ellos se sienten un poco mas confiados en que su hermano aceptará su relación.
Y cambiando un poco de tema, lo que me pareció genial de este tomo también es que se pudo avanzar, al menos un poquito, de la historia de Nowaki y Hiro. No los veia desde hace RATO. Quería saber algo de este par y al final me lo dieron. Fue poco, pero me bastó.
En síntesis, fue un lindo tomo y me gustó bastante.

This was such a good volume. Misaki was really stressing out about getting a job at Marakawa Publishing and Usami was so supportive and patient with him during the entire process.
Having read Nakamura's other series, The World's Greatest First Love, I don't think a job in editing manga is the best fit for Misaki. The hours are horrible and the amount of dedication required would leave him with little time for himself or Usami. I hope he gets placed in a position that's better suited for him.
Misaki doesn't have a lot of confidence in himself. Part of this due to the fact that he doesn't really know what he's good at or what he wants to do with his life. He only applied to Marakawa out of chance and wasn't even sure he really wanted to do that. He has this strong desire to prove to his brother, Usami, and Usami's father that he can take care of himself while at the same time questioning whether that's actually true. He loves Usmai and doesn't want to move out. Having his own money will make him feel more comfortable staying with him. In the end he was hired and his reaction was so funny! Neither he nor Usami could believe it.

Nuevo tomo que sigue la tónica de los anteriores.
Al fin acaba el arco de la búsqueda de trabajo de Misaki. Esté consigue pasar la primera fase de la selección de la editorial Marukawa y está bastante nervioso porque es la única empresa en la que ha logrado llamar la atención. Ante su inseguridad, Usagi lo ayudará y lo animará a su manera XD. Eso sí, el acto 25 termina con el encuentro entre Usagi y Ijuin. La cosa está que arde.
Por otro lado, tenemos una historia de cuando Misaki era estudiante de primero y un nuevo acto de la pareja Egoísta. En este caso, Nowaki tiene dudas sobre su relación con Hiroki a causa de que, por su trabajo en el hospital, casi no puede ver a su pareja y tiene muchas dudas a causa de su propia inseguridad.
Globalmente, un buen tomo en la línea en la que la autora nos tiene acostumbrados.

Usami celoso me da risa por sus ocurrencias.
Me sentí bastante identificada con Misaki cuando se plantea tantas cosas al hacer la entrevista del trabajo. Lo duro que es y el desánimo que se siente cuando no te llaman para el segundo filtro.
Aunque este en la universidad no tiene claro que camino tomar para el futuro. Y la presión es horrible.

Es un manga que me ha gustado mucho, que sigue las andanzas de Usami y Misaki y en estos tomos vemos el problema de Misaki por encontrar trabajo y lo que eso conlleva. Y por otro lado, tenemos a Kamijo y Nowaki que también son dos personajes que me encantan

Το vol. 14, αποτελούμενο από 4 κεφάλαια, ενώ ο Misaki έχει περάσει από την πρώτη φάση συνεντεύξεων του εκδοτικού, συνειδητοποιεί πως ακόμα κι αν τελικά προσληφθεί, ίσως να μην είναι στο τμήμα που θέλει, πράγμα που θα τον προβληματίσει για ακόμα μία φορά καθώς, θα πρέπει να σκεφτεί αν τον ενδιαφέρει γενικότερα ο χώρος του βιβλίου ή όχι. Άλλο ένα πράγμα που τον προβληματίζει, είναι το γεγονός πως δεν έχει καθόλου εμπειρίες σχέσεων και πως στα 22 του χρόνια, μοιάζει να είναι ο μοναδικός παρθένος και ο μοναδικός άντρας που γνωρίζει και δεν έχει βγει ποτέ του ραντεβού με γυναίκα. Ο Akihiko, προσπαθεί να καθησυχάσει τους φόβους και τις ανησυχίες του σε όλα τα επίπεδα, πράγμα που αποδεικνύει για ακόμα μια φορά πόσο πολύ τον νοιάζεται και πως για εκείνον, ο Misaki, είναι η προτεραιότητά του. Περνώντας τα επόμενα στάδια των συνεντεύξεων προκειμένου να προσληφθεί στον εκδοτικό, ο Misaki, νιώθει άγχος και ενθουσιασμό συνάμα, έχοντας καταφέρει να φτάσει στην τελευταία φάση, η οποία ωστόσο, δεν πηγαίνει τόσο καλά όσο θα ήθελε, προκαλώντας του νευρικότητα για την σκέψη του που θα καταλήξει. Λίγο αργότερα, αναγκάζεται να αναλάβει την φροντίδα του ανιψιού του εξαιτίας μιας γρίπης που ταλαιπωρεί τον αδερφό και τη γυναίκα του. Ο Akihiko, δεν αισθάνεται καθόλου άνετα με τον μικρό να βρίσκεται στο σπίτι του και το γεγονός ότι όλη η προσοχή του Misaki είναι στραμμένη στο παιδί, του προκαλεί εκνευρισμό και ένα, θεωρητικά, αδικαιολόγητο αίσθημα ζήλιας. Υποθέτω πως ακόμα και στις ετεροφυλοφιλικές σχέσεις συμβαίνει αυτό, και όντας μαμά, μπορώ μάλλον να το επιβεβαιώσω. Όταν ένα νέο πρόσωπο εισβάλλει στη ζωή σου, αποσπώντας σου χρόνο και προσοχή που μέχρι τώρα ήταν αποκλειστικά και μόνο στραμμένη στον σύντροφό σου, μπορεί να προκαλέσει εντάσεις. Παρ' όλα ταύτα, η μεταξύ τους ένταση εκτονώνεται, με τον τρόπο που μονάχα εκείνοι ξέρουν, ενώ παράλληλα, ο Misaki, καταφέρνει να κερδίσει την θέση την οποία τόσο πολύ ήθελε, πράγμα ευχάριστο μεν, που θα φέρει νέα προβλήματα δε. Ένα ακόμα short story σε μορφή flashback από τον πρώτο χρόνο του Misaki ως φοιτητή, έρχεται να συμπληρώσει την αντίστοιχη ιστορία του προηγούμενου τεύχους, πατώντας πάνω στη λαϊκή ρήση πως ο πεινασμένος, καρβέλια ονειρεύεται, με τον Akihiko να έχει ένα πολύ ζωντανό όνειρο στο οποίο, ο Misaki, του λέει αυτό που θέλει πραγματικά ν' ακούσει από εκείνον. Η πραγματικότητα ωστόσο, δεν ακολουθεί ακριβώς την ίδια ροή, αλλά που θα πάει, θα έρθει η ώρα και γι' αυτό. Άλλο ένα short story με μορφή flashback από το ίδιο έτος, που αφορά ωστόσο τους Nowaki και Hiroki, έρχεται να συμπληρώσει το τεύχος, με τον δεύτερο να αποκλείει μια διάθεση προξενιού από τους γονείς του, στους οποίους και δηλώνει πως έχει ήδη κάποιο πρόσωπο στη ζωή του, πολύτιμο για εκείνον. Και ναι, κάπως έτσι, αρχίζουν οι σχέσεις να σοβαρεύουν αφού η έγκριση και η αποδοχή των γονιών μας, για τον σύντροφό μας και όχι μόνο, μπορεί να είναι πιο ζωτικής σημασίας απ' όσο θέλουμε να πιστεύουμε, ή απ' όσο νομίζουμε ότι φαίνεται.

Siento que es muy pronto para dar mi opinión. Ya quea hace un par de años que no veia el anime, sin embargo, hay escenas que las pude reconocer de inmediato.
También tengo la obligación de recordar que este es el primer tomo que leo, ya despues del anime no tuve otro contacto con la serie.
Asi que dicho esto, que espero decirlo tambien, algún día, en el primer tomo
Me gustó bastante. Siento que este tomo podes leerlo cuando no estas en un buen momento, ya que estoy segura que te va a sacar una que otra sonrisa. Es algo ligero que perfectamente puedes retormar en cualquier momento. Con este único tomo creo que reafirmo en mi mente que el manga va hacer mucho mejor que el anime, porque se explora mejor las relaciones, a excepción del primer capítulo. El resto, parecen tener una relación muy bonita, no sé como lo hace la autora, pero no sentí que estuviera leyendo en muchos momentos, sentí más como si los personajes me estuvieran hablabdo o estaría escuchando sus voces.
Obviamente, no en todas pero sí en un par.
Hace años que me despegue de los animes yaoi, por lo qué, este tomo, es la única excepción que tengo por eso esa cantidad de estrellas.
Creo que no puedo ser subjetiva 😔👊🌸

QUICK THOUGHTS (on the series not this volume):
I have been following this for a while and yes, some of the usual tropes and annoyances that come with the genre I still dislike (especially when it comes to CONSENT!!), I enjoy Junjou Romantica.
I like the unique setting with Usagi's job and the glimpses we get into that and I especially Hiro and Nowaki as a couple. (I can identify with Hiro quite a bit at times, as well as with Misaki.) Something that strikes a chord in me with this story are some of the memorable quotes I have jotted down here and there. (And for such a long time, too.)
I had stopped reading this for quite a while, so it makes me happy that I can now catch up to a bit of story now :D
OH! And the artwork, I really do enjoy Nakamura Shungiku's drawings quite a lot.

It's the usual silly fun, with the highlight being Misaki somehow thinking that he's still a virgin (it's a good thing you can't take this series seriously at all, otherwise - well, it'd be really worrysome).
There's a cameo by Kirishima, which made me once again wish for a Yokozawa/Kirishima spin-off... ah well, can't have everything. The Egoist story was sweet, though. Although the fact that the translator chose to have Nowaki call Hiroki "Hiro" rather than "Hirosan" still pisses me off.

Misaki is passing his rounds of interviews and trying to decide if he wants to be a manga editor. So the first half is him finding out about the different departments in a publishing firm, which i found boring. I'm feeling an imbalance in the relationship, Misaki needs constant reassurance from Usagi and he's not giving Usagi anything back but denies him sex.

Honestly, Misaki is driving me insane. He's been with Usagi how many years, and he's still embarrassed about having sex with him? Give me a break. At this point I find it mostly annoying and not the slightest bit cute. Ah well.
