Seriously, this is in my top 3 favorite YA books of all time. I read it when I was about 10, I think, and then yearly though high-school. I recently remembered it and dug up a used copy online, and it holds up as well now, almost 25 years later, as when I first read it. It's a sweet, happy book, without being overly-cliched. Just altogether great.

I loved this book as a child, and it holds up pretty well today. Shows that there is a lot of hard work involved with horses, as well as a lot of fun. I'm so glad to have found this again after so many years!
