Este tomo contiene un par de historias cortas duras, crueles y tristemente realistas para el contexto más bien fantástico que tiene la serie, así que hay que hacer de tripas corazón en varias escenas. Pero en ningún momento baja el listón y tanto guiones como dibujos siguen con un promedio más que alto (salvo quizás la narrativa del primer capítulo dibujado por Pulido).
Eso sí, si no me equivoco, jamás llega a resolverse la cuestión del paradero de María, haciendo que una historia que ya de por sí era cruel termine siendo una oda al desaliento...

En el nombre de Milligan, de Chiang, y del lápiz Pulido, amén.
Misterio, violencia y teología a las puertas del final de Human Target, una de las series más emblemáticas (y peor adaptadas a la tele) de la línea Vertigo.
