I cannot state any specifics as I bought this book around 1990 when our daughters were young. But growing up with only three brothers in a household where our mom died of cancer when I was six took the birth of our first child to see a therapist to finally mourn the loss of our mother to brain cancer. This book was suggested to me and all I can add at this point is that our daughters are strong, independent women who graduated from a top university and are leaders, not followers. I know I used this book for many difficult decisions, but so much time has passed that I apologize for not being specific. Through my daughters I came to love women even more; at least ones not screaming at me :)
