The Butterfly Girls can’t wait to begin their fourteenth annual weekend reunion, a time to renew their bonds of friendship and honor the memory of their high school friend Ava. But a dark cloud of fear soon forms in their shared hotel room when they learn that one of their former classmates has been brutally murdered. And when new evidence suggests Ava was murdered as well, the friends realize one of them might be next.

Andi is glad to be taking the Butterfly Box with her to Hawaii, where she plans to spend a few weeks participating in a reality dating show. To her surprise, the eligible bachelor, Michael Makura, soon singles her out for attention, provoking jealous acts of sabotage from the other contestants. Soon a series of unusual events disrupts the pair’s fledgling romance, and Andi starts over in New York where she begins dating a great guy and accepts a job offer from a generous, eccentric man. But when Michael unexpectedly shows up, all is not well in the Big Apple. And soon Andi comes faceto- face with the man who killed her friend—and he aims to kill her as well.

I grew up in St. George, Utah, where a lot of my family still lives, but now reside with my husband and family in the Salt Lake City area. My favorite thing to do is support my kids in their many interests. Between basketball, ballet and piano lessons we squeeze a lot into a week, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

All the characters were just a little too perfect for me. Beautiful, rich, successful, living in exotic places. Completely unrealistic and coul not relate. Not to mention the plot was shallow and contrived.

OH MY GOODNESS! Great way to end! I know I may have loved this entire series simply because I related to it so much and not because of the writing itself, but I must admit, this one was my favorite! What a great read. :)

Did not like this one near as much as the other two. The story was just weird. I don't know, and I did not like how it ended. Honestly, I was very dissapointed.

Another great continuation on the 4 remaining friends of the butterfly box club. I liked this one best of all because it is more mystery intertwined with the romance. There is more of a concern than ever that their friend Ava's death wasn't an accident because the girls, Lauryn, Chloe, Jocelyn, and Andi are having weird things happen to them, i.e. texts, accidents that just don't make sense.

Andi goes on the reality show, "finding Mr. Right." This is like the bachelor show which I watched this season and liked minus some scenes. Andi goes on with a great outlook and goal to be true to herself and her beliefs and to read her scriptures, pray and just have a fun time. What she doesn't expect is to have Mr. Right be a down to earth great guy that she truely has a connection with...except that he isn't of her faith. Then she has some freak accidents with her belt strap while she is ziplining, her plane take an emergency landing after she leaves the show because she unintentionally met Michael without either of them realizing it at the time. Michael says that he will come find her after the show is over because he can't deny that there is a connection between them that he wants to explore. Andi tries to discourage him, but know that he speaks the truth, but doesn't know where it can lead.

She goes on with her book written meeting with her publisher in NY and staying with Lauryn and Jace. More instances happen and the girls are on edge after Chloe's near fatal accident. Andi reconnects with Cooper, Lauryn's design partner who has recently converted and now their isn't any holdback on seeing if a relationship can happen. Now though, Cooper doesn't make Andi feel like Michael did, but she tries to give it a chance, until Michael shows up and they start to date secretly. Michael has some interest in the Church. Then the truth comes out about who Drake Hampton is, not the spa resort owner who wants Andi to be the spokesperson, but a former highschool aqcuantance who wants revenge for his being bullied by Andi's friends. Luckily, Michael and her are together when he extracts him revenge and they work together to escape the burning building, jumping off another to safety until Drake shows up and start to take out his anger on Andi physically. Michael pulls Drake off and the authorities get them both out of harms way.

Then the physical healing starts in the hospital when a blessing is given to michael, and his parents accept the blessing that is given as Michael comes out of his unconsciousness and after a year of healing and soul searching... Andi and him are married in the temple with both of their parents present.

Chloe and Cooper start to date more seriously, but take their time. Emma who is in Greece, has a daughter, Demetria and is pregnant with her second. Lauryn after finishing the adoption process finds that she is pregnant also. life is good again with the threat of Drake finally over.

Wow!
Review of A Perfect Fit
By G.G. Vandagriff
In her latest book, which is definitely Romantic Suspense, Michele Ashman Bell whirls us through worlds we will probably never experience for ourselves. First: A Reality TV Show? I mean, that is the furthest thing from my experience. The closest I come to reality TV is being interviewed for the news! But Michele’s heroine, Andi, is an old hand at performing in front of the camera. A fitness and cookbook guru, as well as a woman who has successfully defeated an eating disorder, she has done many interviews and made and sold an entire line of videos.
Dissatisfied with her dating life, she consents when her manager suggests it might be good publicity for her to try out for the Looking for Mrs. Right reality show. The gorgeous, wealthy Michael Makura is looking for a wife to share his plantation in Kauai and his interest in African philanthropies. Andi* has her own philanthropic organization in Africa: Mothers without Borders.
I must admit, not being beautiful, skinny, or possessed of any stage presence, I enjoyed being in Andi’s shoes just a little bit. Especially, when her dates with Michael took her scuba diving, and exploring an island I will probably never visit, but which I have certainly seen through the beautiful descriptions the author has treated me to. A frustrated clothes hound, I loved wearing her designer clothes, as well. But the harrowing zip ride had me holding onto my zero gravity chair as tightly as I could. And the competition with the other 24 girls was something I never could have handled with Andi’s grace. However, knowing the author, I know that this is something she could have done with ease. That is one reason why it was so fun to read this book, because I could see my friend, Michele, in Andi throughout the whole book.
However, this is definitely more than chick lit. Andi faces the hardest of choices between her growing attachment to Michael (which seems a perfect fit in every way) and her desire to be married for eternity. She is relieved as well as heartbroken when what seems to be a dirty trick eliminates her from the contest and sends her back to New York. She doesn’t realize that she is walking into terror. For a reason no one knows, Andi and her friends are being stalked with intent to kill. One friend has already been killed, and just recently another barely escaped a car accident engineered to murder her. Now it’s Andi’s turn, and let me tell you, the zip ride was nothing compared to what she faces in New York. Michael also arrives, absolutely set on becoming worthy to marry her, unwittingly making himself as target as well. I tell you what—I was up until 2:00 am turning pages on this one. Kudos to Michele for giving me an exciting alternate reality in every sense!

The Perfect Fit by Michele Ashman Bell
This last installment in the Butterfly Box Trilogy was my favorite, as it tied everything up with a huge climax as to what caused Ava's accident. With a surprising and shocking prologue, it took me to about 3/4 through to figure out who was behind everything.

Andi Martin, fitness guru and the only remaining to be single, decides to apply to be a contestant on the reality show Looking For Mrs. Right that was taking place in Hawaii. Before she leaves for Hawaii, Andi receives a couple ominous e-mails. On the day before she is to arrive at the plantation/mansion of where Michael Makua is waiting for his Mrs. Right, she finds herself at a beautiful Bed & Breakfast
When Andi makes the first cut that allows her to stay at the mansion, she is totally in for a surprise. A few of the other contestants feel jealous of Andi because Michael chooses her for the first one-on-one date. When a few so-called accidents happen to Andi, she becomes suscpicious and alarmed.
When she leaves the show to be near Chloe, who'd been injured in an accident and was in a coma, she realizes she is falling for Michael. When she visits Lauryen in New York, she and Cooper seem to be hitting it off, but Andi realizes she still has feelings for Michael and when Michael follows her to New Ylork, she's confused, as Michael isn't a member of her faith and is not sure she can forgive his checkered past as a playboy. When both Andi and M ichael's life are threatened, it brings on strength, courage and determine she never thought she had.
I highly recommend this book that takes us into the world of reality TV andwhat happens when you get 24 single beautiful women together under one roof vying for the a t tentions of one handsome, rich young man.

LDS Fiction. Third book in the Butterfly Box series. I started this book on a Saturday night and finished it on the following Sunday night. The edition I have is a soft cover version of the book (an option not available on GoodReads). Got this from my local library. I have read the two preceding books in this series (I actually bought them). My guess would be, based on how this edition ended, that this is the last installment of this series.

Lauren, Andrea, Jocelyn, Chloe, Emma and Ava are the Butterfly Girls. They have been friends since their high school days in St. George, Utah. The first book was centered on Lauren. The second one focused on Jocelyn. This last one Andrea, aka Andi, is the center of attention.

Andi is something of a fitness guru. She signs herself up to take part in a reality dating show that is to be shot in Kaui, Hawaii. She figures she won't get far but she will get exposure and an all expenses paid trip to the island. She has a fitness book on the market and a cookbook she is writing and she assumes she will get some free publicity out of this little venture. She gets way more than she expects when she meets "Mr. Right", one Michael Makura.

I find the gals in this series very appealing. They are committed to living their religion and doing their best to represent their faith, particularly when their faith is challenged by difficult circumstances. The fact that Andi and Michael are "beautiful people" in no way lessened my enjoyment of this fast paced tale. I was way more focused on the personalities of Andi and Michael than on their physical attributes.

These stories are quick, easy, and entertaining reads that have a little bit of depth to them. The characters are likable and the plot lines are engaging. Michele Ashman Bell is one of my favorite LDS authors.

When Andi, a successful, vibrant woman, becomes selected as a contestant on the new dating show, “Finding Mrs. Right,” she flies off to beautiful Hawaii. There Andi falls in love with the landscape that contrasts black, ragged volcanoes with lush vegetation. Dates take place in helicopter rides over Cascading waterfalls, zip line rides over deep gorges (I’ve got to do this one!) and snorkling in the warm waters of the ocean. But in the midst of her awe over her new surroundings, Andi finds herself becoming more and more attracted to “Mr. Right,” Michael Makura. Amazingly, he seems to be returning her level of attachment.

This book is for every woman who dreams of being chosen over a room full of other beautiful women and liked for who she is naturally—kind, fun-loving, and a bit of the girl-next-door.

The conflict is not whether or not Michael Makura chooses Andi, the problem is whether Andi will choose Michael. Can she walk away from the most eligible man in Hawaii, who wants to choose her and can give her everything, everything but what is most important?

Andi flees to New York where she renews a relationship with a man who dotes on her and takes her on amazing dates. He seems to be the perfect fit. So why does she keep thinking of the man who was not?

There’s also the tiny problem that something very sinister is about to happen to Andi that has nothing to do with dating shows or dates in New York. Sometimes, even extraordinary lives become the target for vindictive, angry minds.

This is the last installment of Michele Ashman Bell's Butterfly Box series. This one was, in my opinion, the best of the 3.
This book focuses on Andi, who is a fitness guru and the last single member of the Butterfly Girls.
She decides to go on a reality program, "Looking For Mrs Right". She doesn't expect to win, but her agent says it will be great publicity for her new cookbook.
When she develops a relationship with Michael the handsome playboy, mysterious things start to happen, both to Andi on the show and to her friends.
There were a lot of loose ends in the story, like would Andi choose Michael or Cooper, who killed Ava and were the deaths of other high school friends related? Was the same person trying to kill the Butterfly Girls, or were they just having incredibly bad luck?
I didn't get all of the answers until the very end, which made The Perfect Fit just that much better.
I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the previous 2 Butterfly Box books, and anyone who likes a good mystery/romance.

Much better than the second book in this series. It was fun to read about a girl in a reality tv show. I just wish that Bell would delve more into the personality differences she attributes to each of the girls to make their individual characters stand out. Otherwise, besides obvious situational differences, each of the butterfly girls tend to blend together.

For example, Andi is supposed to be a fitness celebrity and passionate about working out and yet it was only briefly mentioned here and there. I found so many places this aspect of Andi could have been highlighted to really bring out who she is. I kept waiting for it and would have loved the bit more depth it would have given the main character of this novel.

Also, if this is the last book in the series I'm sorely disappointed that she isn't finishing with a separate book for each girl. What about Chloe and Emma? I want books from their point of view. Also the ending was SUPER rushed if this is the grand finale of the book.

However, and despite all that, I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

I have had a hard time finding book 2 in this series. It came out when too many things were going on to get lost in a good book. I hope I stumble across "Home Town Girl" one of these days, but I wasn't going to let that hold me back from reading "The Perfect Fit."

Andi was fun. I loved her free will and the chance she takes when she enters the Looking for Mr. Right contest.

I love watching the 1st shows on the dating reality series when everyone meets/competes for attention. After that all standards seem to melt away like ice and I don't want to see it. So Andi's situation had a little more pull for me to find out what happens after the 1st date.

Andi held to her standards and expected to be treated that way. Even though I'm married to a good man, I could follow a little more of Andi's example.

(Genre:LDS fiction/romance) This is the third installment of the "Butterfly Box" series and felt like the conclusion to that series. It tells the story of Andi (the personal fitness trainer) and her appearance on a reality TV dating show. While Andi is navigating the peril's of falling in love with a guy who has 23 other beautiful girls trying to capture his attentions (I am SO not a fan of "The Bachelor" and other similar shows, so don't even get me started on that topic), it appears that someone is out to harm her and the other Butterfly Box girls. It was a definitely a fluff read and the ending felt simplified and rushed, but if you enjoyed the other 2 books, you should like this one too.

Andi's story and the clearing up of who killed Ava so many years ago.
Andi goes on a reality show called Mr. Right. She really connects with Michael - potential Mr. Right. The story line is set in Kauai. They do some cool stuff and the scenery sounds beautiful. Andi is threatened by a centripede, a zip line harness that breaks.
Chloe is in a serious car accident, so Andi leaves the show to go stay with her.
Then Andi goes to New York and stays with Lauren. Andi tries to have a relationship with Cooper. Michael follows her. They are almost killed by the person who killed Ava so many years ago.

Whoops! I did it again. Every now and then I spoil myself and read a complete book almost at one sitting. "The Perfect Fit" was the book and Friday was the day. My husband had to drive about 200 miles round trip to see various clients, and so as I often do I grabbed a book, Bell's latest one, and took up residence in the passenger side of the car. Upon or arrival home, I fixed us a bite to eat and then took a seat on the sofa and stayed there until I finished the book. Needless to say it was a "good read." Don't we all need to escape reality sometimes by losing ourselves in the excitement, mystery and romance of a pretend life. Good job Michelle

I really enjoyed this new Butterfly Box story! I haven't ever watched The Bachelor, but I almost want to after reading this.

Andi is a fitness guru and has a few exercise DVDs out. Her agent signs her up for a new reality show, Finding Mrs. Right, which will be taking place in Kauai. What is about Hawaii that automatically draws me in?

Michael, Mr. Right, was a very likable, almost perfect guy, and a true gentleman. I loved the workings of the show. The mystery afterwards was very intense.

This was such a great book! I loved it! It is the 3rd and final "butterfly box" book and tied up all the stories so well. I loved the character Andie, and the really engaging storyline. She starts out the book as a contestant on a reality show to find "Mrs. Right" in Hawaii! Then she moves on to New York, and the story really gets going. I loved the suspense and romance and characters. It was a really fun and quick read that kept me entertained, and let me escape from my fab life in Utah. I felt like i've been on mini-vacations to Hawaii and NYC.

Have you ever been so enthralled with a book, not only do you zip through it but you skip to certain parts of the book to find...out (ahem) what happens? I did. I am so not your traditional reader. I skip around all over. And thats just what I did with this one. I love the Butterfly Box series. A series full of fun, friendships, romance, references to one of my favorite places St.George, takes place in another favorite spot of mine, Kauai, and a little reality tv show thrown in..and its clean. No vampires involved. Great series..one of my favorites!

I really like how this book played out. I had fun reading her spin off she did of "The Bachelor," she called it "Finding Mr. Right" It was fun and a little hilarious to read. The mystery that surrounded Ava's death was much bigger then thought.

I don't know if this the last of the Butterfly series, but if it is she tied it up nicely and would be a nice ending for the series.

One thing that I do want to know is, why was Ava so mean? What happen to her to cause her to be so mean?

Interesting premise--an active LDS woman going on reality TV knowing the bachelor is not a member of the Church. I enjoyed the story while it took place in Hawaii. It was harder when Andi left and went to New York. I felt saddened, and then knowing the Butterfly girls were targeted by some lunatic from high school was scarry. From book one through book three we get attached to these amazing women.

I didn't like this book as well as the others in the series. Sure, I really enjoyed her foray into the dating show, but I felt it ended too soon. I wasn't really a fan of the stuff in New York. I also knew who the bad guy was the whole time so no big surprise there. It also sounds like this is the end of the series with the remaining two Butterfly Girls being in happy relationships. I hope it's not true. I would love to have more books in this series.

Yea yea. I don't like these books but knowing there was just one book left in the series I had to read it to see what happened. I was actually surprised with the twist on this book, it sort of turned into a murder mystery type novel. And of course being the last book in the series, all of the characters had everything work out at the end...

So I wouldn't recommend this series as a really good must-read....but I still read it. I dunno.

This third book in the butterfly box series was wonderful. It was much more suspenseful as the author tied up all the loose ends from the previous two novels in the series. This book dealt mostly with Andrea (Andi) as she flew to Hawaii to participate in a reality dating TV show. Accidents start happening more frequently to Andi and when Chloe is almost killed in a car accident, they Butterfly Box girls start to put the puzzle pieces together.

Strange things keep happening to the group of Butterfly Girls, is it just a concident or is someone out to get them.
This book focus's mainly on Andi, who goes to Hawaii to star in the show Looking for Mrs. Right, she is doing this just for fun and to bring attention to her new book coming out. She doesn't expect anything to happen, let alone find herself falling in love.

Michele, you've done it! If I could have given this great book a 6 I would have! I loved the excitement of it and really enjoyed getting to know Andi better. I know a lot of things are wrapped up, but will there be more in this series? I still want to read more about all of the Butterfly Box girls!

I have enjoyed the Butterfly girls . This one was especially funny in using ".The Bachelor" setting. I love how you wrapped up all the characters . Cooper is active in the church... Although it would be fun to see Coopers and Chloe story.... I love how you have kept true to your characters standards....

Loved the BOOKS..

I don't usually give chicklit more than 3 stars, but I really liked this book. It was a good story that really kept my attention and for LDS fiction, it wasn't "preachy" at all.

The story is about Andi and her being on "Choosing Mrs. Right" (think "the bachelor"). Throw in a mystery and all of her friends from books 1 & 2 (the butterfly girls) and it was a fun read.

I liked this book the most out of all the Butterfly Box series. I think it is because I am such a fan of the Bachelor. It was fun to have the main character go through a reality show like that and try to find love. It had lots of twists and turns - some more believable than others, but overall it was a good book.

I know this author and have had many conversations with her ....mainly about ballet. She has an amazing family and this story took place in NYC. A place I know she spent alot of time with her "ballet" daughter. So fun to know someone then read how they write. She's good! I enjoyed it. And if and when I go to NYC, I will visit all her "spots".

The best book of the trilogy! This book is filled with laughter, excitement, romance, drama and intrigue that makes it a true page-turner. A perfect ending for this enjoyable trilogy! I also loved the LDS characters that stayed true their faith through every obstacle they faced. Fun summertime read!
