Marketing tool?

Very very short story of the author's experience and diagnosis with few details....and then many pages devoted to promoting the author's books. I got the impression that it was published simply as a marketing tool.

Testimony

As a sufferer with endometriosis this short testimony came at the right time. The testimony only took 5 mins to read. But it injected so much hope.

The simple child's prayer we use to say before going to bed took on a new meaning, "Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take."
I've read plenty of Pat's catalog but never had I read of her testimony. Her experience with epilepsy encouraged and blessed me. The eye witness account recalled by her and her family reminded me to always be an advocate for your care. It also showed how Pat relied on the strength God gave her through His promises in the Word. This was an excellent short read.

This is a very moving personal experience story about illness. Who knows when the unexpected will happen? It happened when Pat Simmons in If I Should Die Before I Wake became so sick she felt as though death were at her doorstop. Thank The Lord she didn't die. It's a powerful story about fear transplanted by faith and hope. It is also a story about not fearing to ask questions about an illness. When one doctor says there is no reason for what you are suffering, use Pat Simmons example and go to another doctor or how many doctors it will take until you find the answer. Also, be aware that all medicines can produce side effects. Pat Simmons googled her symptoms until she discovered answers. This is a compelling life story. Didn't realize I had reached the end. Found myself searching for more pages. It's very short and can be read in one sitting.

This is Simmons powerful testimony on how God has guided her through the storm of seizures. She uses transpracy to explain how one should do the most out of everyday. The use of scriptures proves that Simmons is strictly following God's voice as she writes. This is a short read that offers inspiration and motivation to do what God has ordained you to do while on earth.

It takes a lot of courage to share your personal story with the world. I hope that your story helps others and inspires those who are facing the same challenges. I pray that you continue to have good health.

A short read that could have been developed further. Author used too many pages in this book to promote her collection.

This was ok but I was looking for a little more. This really is a testimonial more than a book. But it was a great read.
