Two deaths, days apart but clearly linked. Each victim has had the tips of their fingers removed with a hacksaw. Reuben Maitland, freshly returned to GeneCrime, is heading up the case. I like this series, it's getting better by the book (I've read them all now) Reuben is easy to like, and the books are very easy to read. A fast, entertaining series.

Finished reading John Macken - Control. To catch the killer a cop must pay the ultimate price. His son was kidnapped given a choice to stop hunting him down or see his son dead. These are tough decisions a cop must decide. Which will you choose? :)

My first crime fiction read. It was a bit of slow starter for me, wasn't quite into it but it got interesting towards the end.
