The founder of Germany's Green Party Petra Kelly presents the right way for women to work in politics. Peace, love and civility. <3

"Woman must lead the efforts in education for peace awareness, because only she, I feel, can go back to her womb, her roots, her natural rhythms, her inner search for harmony and peace, while men, most of them anyway, are continually bound to their power struggle, the exploitation of nature, and military ego trips. Our timidity must end for the earth has no emergency exit."

It's shocking to see how goodreads users have barely read this historically significant and seriously important book.

The lovely Petra Kelly, may she rest in peace, provides excellent arguments in favour of the peace, anti-war, and feminist movements - both fundamentally and in the contexts of East & West Germany. A lot of her suggestions truly sent chills down my spine - as I realise the situation has only gotten far worse since the time of writing.

Swords into ploughshares.

How have we become so much more polarised internationally than we were 30 years ago... heartbreaking.
