Interesting premise but needed a LOT of editing for not only story flow but spelling and grammar.

There were parts of the book I did enjoy, seeing the two characters fall in love but unsure of their feelings and how to act on them was well written.

The parts that were very hard to take was the actual crime (where it seemed to come out of nowhere considering how disgusted the main character was when this happened to him for many years and he did this to a child younger then he was when it all started).

The musical interludes kind of threw me off. I was trying to figure out if they were singing out loud, in there heads and mostly why were they singing.

Once the actual crime too place, the story went at a fast pace.

Very odd story. The whole burst out in song/musical tone of the book threw me off. The actual crime seems to come out of no where and reminded me of the mob mentality of some serial killer partners. That escalated quickly.

the author did warn readers about the contents of this book but not even that was enough.
what a disturbing, shocking, bizarre and twisted tale about what goes on behind the veil of normalcy in a quiet suburb.

Very bizarre but a touching love story. I'm not into musicals, especially reading one, but it's brilliantly written considering the author's age.
