Harold Lee Lindsey was an American evangelical writer and television host. He wrote a series of popular apocalyptic books – beginning with The Late Great Planet Earth (1970) – asserting that the Apocalypse or end time (including the rapture) was imminent because current events were fulfilling Bible prophecy. He was a Christian Zionist and dispensationalist.

I really enjoyed reading this book, and it is a shame that it is out of print. This book is basically a commentary on all of the biblical prophecies foretelling the coming, life, ministry, death, burial, resurrection, and return of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. It is easy to understand, yet biblically accurate. In addition, the illustrations within it by artist Norm McGary are beautiful and add a valuable, complementary visual component to Hal Lindsey's writings. I recommend this highly for anyone desiring to learn more about the connection between the Old Testament prophecies and Jesus Christ.
