[Menage Amour Erotic Alternative Paranormal Menage a Trois Romance, M/M/M, dragon shifters, public exhibition, voyeurism] Austin Lung was more than willing to lend a helping hand to his friend Gabriel, especially since it meant freeing abused men from a sex slave ring. When one man asks Austin to take him home, he can't help but agree. Garreck Hawes has known no other life—he barely remembers a time before he was a sex slave. Now, all he knows is that he wants to follow his handsome rescuer home. If that means Dante comes too, so be it. As a sex slave, Dante Hammerstone has done things he wishes he could forget. The only thing that has made it worthwhile was knowing he was protecting Garreck when he could, even if it meant taking his place. After a rash of unexpected complications and broken promises, will they run from each other—or will they take the chance that love could be behind the walls they've built? ** A Siren Erotic Romance
I really don't know where to start, and I apologise for the rambling thats about to come.
I was hoping that the long delay in book 3 comming out was due to Miss Flynn taking time to build her characters and story/plot lines. Sadly this was not the case. The characters are still as flat as cardboard. I'm wondering if Miss Flynn suffers from a split personality or if she just writes her characters that way. It left me with a headache from the constantly switching personallity traits.
For examples, you have Garreck going from seemingly hating Dante to clinging to him for comfort because he feels safe with him. He goes after Austin with a single minded aproach, meaning to get him any way he can to back peddling so fast it made my head spin when he actually gets exactly what he wanted. And lets not forget the way he reacts to intense moments of declarations of love.... he squeals and demands preasents!
As for making Garreck a sex junkie WTF. Even if I could believe he loves sex, I still have a job believing after all his been through, the abuse and such that he still loves sex with a complete stranger. A far more believable story line would be to have him convinced he needed to use sex to stay despite being told the oposite.
Then we have the totally random plot line thrown in. Suddenly we go from Dragons mating for life with a partner/s that they would die for to a Dragon that mates simply to have children? Again WTF.
Next we have the token know-it-all female. The hard ass bitch that everyones scared of. She was once a timid abused woman that was saved by Austin. Her way of showing him love and loyalty? She imediately thinks the worst of him when he trys to explain what happens. She doen't give him even the smallest benifit of doubt before slapping him. Some loyalty huh? Then you have another Dragon again believing a total strangers rambling over another Dragon that he considered a friend. Well with friends like that Austin sure as hell don't need enemies.
The final topping was the lets screw with 2 of your workers sitting in the room. It doesnt matter if they wanna watch, they got no choice, but don't worry they enjoy it of course. After all they are Flynns characters so they will obviously love sex whether they watch or join in. To be honest I really think its time to decide just what genre Miss Flynn actually wants to write. She seems to be trying to write both romance and porn and failing in both subjects.
Lastly does Flynn ever think before she writes? Just 2 plot points that stand out in my mind are the jumping in each othrs arms from a speeding truck yet only one of them gets hurt? and the way after being kept isolated from the world in cages naked and starved they still know exactly what size clothing they take? Yes silly little points to pick on but anoying to me as a reader.
Sorry I know I'm probably gonna be bashed for this but I stand by my opinion. This was total garbage. Not even of any use as a light hearted escapism read as the flaws were far to mind destroying, not to mention sex abuse, starvation and imprisonment are in no way light hearted reads to me.

I've adored these three books, and I really hope the author is planning more. Austin made some huge mistakes, but Dante and Garreck made a few assumptions and everyone had poor communication. Luckily they had Kelley in the house to set them straight. Another super adorable dragon baby crack book!
Pretty much the same as the two previous ones. But that doesn't mean that I won't read the rest of the series when it comes out -- they call to me like crack to a junkie!
Ok, the lack of realism in theses stories is very apparent in this one. They started to be at war in the 70ties...but they live in the same world as us. With internet, florist, Wii, Disney movies, Sponge-fucking-bob, etc. And don't forget that the day-to-day life seems identical, with work, government and all the others authorities, we don't have any indication that this world was at war for 25 years and that very few women remained. I'm sorry but I can't see men (I'd include women too if it was not impossible in this case) not trying to control all the remained women and not create a sort of totalitarian regime.
Dante is the queen of the drama. Garreck is THE slut. Kelley is a bitch and the sum of everything I hate in a female in the mm genre. Gabriel lost a lots of points.
It's was surprisingly very easy for Peter to enter the house, house that belong to the owner of a successful security company.
From what I hear, there’s a price on your head from your old employers. Ho, I thought they killed all the bad guys?
Again the editing was very minimal.
As several peoples had already said, I hoped to see this writer improve but no, this exactly the same as before.

While this third book outwardly fit well with the series, unfortunately, I wasn't able to connect to the characters as well as I did in books 1 and 2. I think it was because I saw less of them, so they had less depth, but also because some of their behavior just didn't seem logical to me. The abuse issue was glossed over too quickly for my tastes and the misunderstandings a bit too obvious. Austin's back-and-forth didn't help, and the lack of a real threat, unlike in the first two volumes, reduced the tension level. I still liked the book, I just wish it was as good as the first two.
Worldbuilding sucked and was inconsistent but that was my only real issues...eg...if billions of humans died from 1970-2010 why was the Wii still invented. or
If there is hardly any women left then why was Godiva chocolate invented or florists still exist???
My favourite is - if he is the owner of one of the biggest bodyguard and security companies in the whole wide world - how is it that his ex rocks up and rings his bell???
Even thou Austin is young in dragon years at approx 200 he still has 200 years plus to his name! He came across as childish with the constant 'I fucked up' tantrums. I also thought the fact that his mates didn't notice or comment on the fact that he didn't PERSONALLY go out and get make up presents as not really being sincere. If you mess up you should want to personally go out of the way to make it better if possible. And the fact that you have all this time/money it comes across SOO much better if you take the time to do it yourself. Garreck is a bit over the top for me. Constantly wanting sex in the way he was presented just came across demeaning to me. Dante I thought had the most depth to me. While I wouldn't mind seeing how Wolf and Tiny make out, this particular story set is frankly irritating to me and too childish to continue with if there were any more to the series

Can you get a little more dramatic please? I don't think I've had enough yet. After all it was just a little running away from home, jumping out of a moving truck, get threatened and almost stabbed. Everyday occurrences. Not to mention all the testosterone...it's not like they cried a lot or often. Just everyday. And the angst of it all. But they were only in their twenties so it wasn't that bad but then you add a two centuries old dragon who can't seem to stop acting like a screwed up kid with a lot of insecurities to the mix and it's just perfect. God. The trust issues. I get them, really. It's all very understandable but was it really necessary to screw up every other conversation? I'm starting to wonder if this author actually knows any men. Seriously. Gay men don't act like women with PMS.

This story is fast-paced and full of unexpected twists that kept me reading. I enjoyed the story very much, and I understand why the characters had such lousy communication skills, but it sure made me want to smack them up-side the head at times. lol. Good thing for Kelley, Austin's right-hand woman, otherwise these guys would never have figured their relationship out! All-in-all, this is a good read that made me laugh and cry. I liked the characters. Joyee's writing gave clear understanding of the motives behind their actions, making them likable through it all. I look forward to the next NA Dragon book.
typical joyee flynn serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical joyee flynn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by : joyee flynn sunny day lynn hagen stormy glenn scarlett hyacinth carol lynne gabrielle evans
unless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books. dammit! well, i made it all the way to the end being rather moderate in my assessment. that's a win
it was good but lacked the zing. I wanted either witty reparte, endearing quirky characters or something a little extra, but I got just a story that did it's job and nothing more.
worth a read, especially as it is part of the series.
I really enjoyed this story. Minor grammar errors but tolerable. And the background of this story is so interesting. Reminds me a bit of handmaids tale with the scarcity of women.
More of the same (again, why is there no mpreg tag? Whatever). Only this time the dragon has a female housekeeper her rescued and he keeps screwing up and the guy he rescued also have some kind of weird love/hate relationship. I couldn't believe how these humans who are oblivious to dragons and mpreg take to it like ducks to water. Oh, a uterus will grow in my and I'll give birth out my ass? Yay! Bring it on. *shrug* Whatever floats your boat but this is not mine and again, despite the world population being halved, life appears to go on pretty well.
