A charming little collection of patterns that make appropriate and clever use of scraps, particularly of vintage kimono.

These are beautiful items that you can make and gift to loved ones. The photographs are superior. However, the details and instructions are not for beginners like me. They were not detailed enough and were confusing.

Really enjoyed this "how to book". Made one project and planning on making more. Directions difficult for me on the doll I was trying to make and I gave up. Made the sparrow instead, So cute! If the directions were clearer on some projects I'd give it a 5. I'm not experienced at sewing, so I was pleased to find a book I could work with. Very original projects, that I don't find in a lot on ordinary craft books.

I found this book hiding from me on my bookshelf. I made the Chinese bellflower bag, the butterfly bag, and the goldfish several years ago when I first got the book. I remember them being fairly easy for me to make. Pictures are gorgeous and the projects are very cute. The sizes for the bags are small.

Gorgeous photos and easy to follow instructions make this book a must have for the intermediate to advanced set. The amount of hand sewing these projects may be a little daunting, but I assure you all of your hard work will be worth it! I love this book!

A beautiful book, well-written and instructional. I do wish that it had better guidance about material.

A delightful book of small projects, perfect to make for gifts or as favors. For the intermediate sewer, they can be done by machine, and spark ideas for additional variations.
