In the sequel to the blockbuster film Daredevil, Elektra Natchios is rescued by the mysterious ninja group known as The Chaste--who train her in the fine art of combat until her thirst for vengeance causes her to be expelled--and works as a freelance assassin, until she is forced to make a dangerous choice to save the lives of one man and his young child. Original. (A 20th Century Fox film, releasing February 2005, written by Raven Metzner & Stuart J. Zicherman, starring Jennifer Garner) (Science Fiction & Fantasy)
Yvonne Navarro is the author of Concrete Savior, Highborn, AfterAge, deadrush, Final Impact, Mirror Me and a bunch of other books, plus Buffy the Vampire Slayer novels and tie-in novels for Hellboy, Elektra, and others."
A better fleshed out version than the movie it was based on--this book does not scrimp on action scenes. I like how the book portrayed Elektra as cold and never wants to get close with someone since she doesn't want to hurt them our herself. There are additional action sequences as well that for brevity was not included in the movie.
After watching CinemaSins, the same "mistakes" are even copied into the book! But I do understand the movie much better now. And thanks for using "church quiet" (p. 143) - I haven't heard it before in my life.
Budi dimakan komodo.
Tolong ambil hikmahnya, anak-anak. Jangan nodong turis terlalu dekat dengan komodo, apalagi kalau turisnya Tattoo, salah satu pembunuh dari organisasi The Hand yang dikhianati Elektra.
Some decent writing but not much of story. After the events of Daredevil one can but wonder how Elektra is alive and more importantly what she's doing. Not something I recommend but the writer of the book certainly sets up a good level of insight into the minds of the characters that the film's stars didn't bring. An okay story but not a great one.
