I watched Jersey Shore and my mum saw this at the library and borrowed it for me.

I glanced through it. Wow. This is truly awful. I guess you have to be a hard core Snooki fan to appreciate this.

It's just pages of rambling on why Snooki likes stuffed animals, Jenni's boobs, wearing leopard print.

Maybe I'm just too pale.

Just one of those things you see and you can't believe how it got published. Might be good for a chuckle though.

I only got this book in hopes of some laughs. All I read was how pale people suck and all women should dress like ... excuse my language, whores. It is a real shame that real authors can not get published but this can.

Honestly,I am in love with Nicole. Who wouldn't love to be paid for just having fun and doing whatever you wanted? This is a life guide for Snooki fans. This book inspires you to be tan, outgoing and rock any situation you are put into. I loved this book almost as much as I love her.
This book is just an outline on how to be a "guidette". This book compliments the title very well, as in this book is exactly what the title says.
I think the Authors purpose was to say that being unique and crazy isn't such a bad thing. Also, she is letting her fans know that she loves the way she is, and everyone else should feel the same. She says what she thinks and when she wants and doesn't care what others think. So mainly, she had many themes and purposes for writing this book.
This book was an informational/instrucatable on how to be a "guidette". It tells you what to do, how to do it, how to act in situations, and what she thinks is a "guidette".

This review is posted on my blog, Rachel Reading. If you like this, check it out for more!

So here's the reason this book got four stars. Because it was pretty much what I expected.

I didn't expect this book to change my life or my perception on things, and I will admit, I feel like Snooki and I could be friends despite the fact that I'm pale, so I enjoyed reading her book as something humorous.

It was short, easy to read and if this were the six trait rubric I would give her a six in voice because I read the whole thing in her voice the whole time. I enjoyed it, it was mindless reading and it was fun.

The authors purpose for writing the book is to entertain readers, and go more into depth about Snooki's life at the Jersey Shore. She talks about how she came to be a Guidette, and how to become like her. Snooki goes more into depth about her family life, her past, and where she wants to be in the future.

The theme of the book is feminism, and how to be a proper Guidette. She talks about how her and her roommate get along, drama with other girls in Seaside Heights, and how her family and her get along. She tells us how to be exactly like her; fake tan, teased poof, and attract all the "juice-heads." There were many hateful terms from men directed towards Snooki in the book and reviews, and she accepted them, which I thought made her look weak and not respectful of herself, and made my opinion of her change. Snooki tryed to indirectly say that you need to stand up for yourself and fight the stereotypes. She is judged for her party lifestyle and clothing style, but not known for her real personality, which is shown in the book.

The style of the book was narration because she was telling about her experiences at the Jersey Shore. She went into detail about every little thing that went on there, and how it affected her and her best friends. She also talked about her family life, and how to be a real guidette like her!

I really enjoyed Confessions of a Guidette. I love the show, Jersey Shore on MTV, and I think the book was almost exactly head-on with the show, only with more personal experiences. She goes more in depth about her individual life instead of talking about her roommates the whole time, and I liked how it made me understand her more. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes tanning, partying, reality, or just Snooki in general!!

The pictures were nice, but the whole concept of the book was kinda lame. She goes on and on about how disgusting pale people look like it's a major issue in the world! It was entertaining and funny at times, but the main reason I bought this was because I got it signed by Snooki at a book signing.

I'm obsessed with her mind. This book is so funny, its such a time capsule of the early 2010's.
I think everyone should have a copy of this book, go to thriftbooks NOW it's like $5 or less.

First of all I know this book isn't the greatest piece of literature to ever hit the planet earth but I'm judging it for what it is; a cute and sweet little book about Snooki!! Whether you're a Snooki fan or just a guidette in training you will enjoy this read. My favorite thing about the book was it's design. It's full of leopard print, zebra print, hot pink and faux glitter. It has some spelling mistakes here and there but it does really sound like words straight from Snooki's mouth. If you have ever read Paris Hilton's "Confessions of an Heiress," this book is nearly it's twin (they're even published by the same company). In my opinion, I think a book of this style is more suited for someone like Paris since her career has spanned several years. Snooki's career is still in it's infant stages and even some of the photos repeat from page to page. All in all though if you're looking for an inside look of the life of Snooki this book is your ticket.

I love this book! I read it in one night, I like to switch it up and read a little of everything and this book is so entertaining. It also has some good confidence tips even though some of the book is a bit silly and you can't take it too seriously like her preaching that everyone should be tan. A really fun book, must read!

Who really thought this would be some sort of masterpiece? To everyone complaining: shut up. You still read it. Score it low and move on. I feel like I shouldn't have to say that. Need to kill an hour? Challenge accepted. Done.

What can I say. I hate Snooki's whole "guidette" lifestyle, and I do not agree or would ever follow something like that and look that way. Sorry, but I don't think "slutty to the max" is something to just blow off... Also, Snooki totally makes you feel in a sense that if you are not tanned, fit, and beautiful, your nothing.

In all honesty, I don't see how dressing he way she dresses is appropriate. It just isn't. It's really hard to respect and take seriously, someone who (in my opinion), looks like a hooker.

Onto the good points. Snooki is fun. I like her style of writing, and the fun way she put the book together. Like I said, I don't like the lifestyle, but I do give her kudos for being herself. That's the most important. You really get the feel that she knows who she is, and no one is going to change that.

Otherwise, this book was quite entertaining, and fun. I really liked it!

I am almost embarrassed to say that Snooki's first book had more substance! Instead of this book being a work of fiction like her first, it's basically "the bible" for all things Snooki. Notes on her fav makeup, how to "double bra" to create more cleavage, the importance of animal print everything are all included. If you watch Jersey Shore and like Snooki you will be familiar with all the things mentioned in her book... Book was entertaining to a point but was nothing you couldn't already figure out about Snooki from just watching the show.

I watched the show, all seasons. Because I'm addicted to bad IQ dropping television. So, I figure I'll read her book. It was simple enough since every page had huge pictures on it. The reason I gave it two stars instead of one, is because she loves animals and wants to help them. Sorry, that just earned her some points. And she's got 3 cats. More than me, I'm jealous!
But I don't like how she's like "Be yourself" but then hates pale people. I hope she doesn't literally hate everyone who isn't tan. I like being pale and I'd like to think she'd be nice to me.

I've had this book on my shelf forever. I originally bought it after reading Nicole's amazing memoir, Baby Bumps, and I wanted more. However this book, while sort of a memoir is nothing like Baby Bumps. Instead I feel like it's a journal of Snooks' life both pre and post fame. While I still enjoyed reading it because she's such a character, I realized I missed the grown up version of Snooki.

I hope to be able to get my hands on her latest book, Strong is the New Sexy. Overall, this book was entertaining and I give it a 3.5 stars. Go Snooks!

**A Book with Bad Reviews**

When I first started this book I thought 'Hey this isn't half bad, at least she has some humour!' - but pretty soon I found out that it's all a one track kind of thing. Nothing new, just the same stuff (I was tempted to say crap there) over and over again. There's a quite printed in the book by Nicole Richie: "You don't know what's going on in that poof. She could be hiding... Genius". After reading this book I find it safe to say that she isn't.

If there's somebody that didn't like this book, it's probably because they weren't a Snooki fan. I am a HUGE Snooki fan and I feel like I totally got my money's worth. If you LOVE Snooki like I do, you won't regret picking up this book. She is actually a really good author. If you don't believe me, read for yourself.

Yes I judge myself for reading this book.
I don't even watch Jersey Shore. That said... the book was decently entertaining.
Also, I'm on this kick about different people's style right now, so it was a learning experience. Or at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

This was a really quick and funny read. Just to pass some time on my day to relax. Of course I didn't have high hopes for it so I wasn't upset when after I was done it wasn't that great. It was cute and I liked some of her jokes but more of a funny, easy read then an actual book to learn from.

this was awful to be honest... took me like two hours to read. For the price, not worth it thankfully I got it for a dollar although. You would have to be some hardcore fan for sure to pay full price for this.

I read it...
It was alright but I just hope her new book is better. Some people are total haters. It's their choice and if they haven't even read it, don't f***ing express it. Plain and simple
