Shooting high and long, Brian Davis racks up winning points for the Jefferson Patriots in his first few games. But when the other teams get wise and start blocking his shots, the Patriots begin to look bad. Brain knows that unless he beefs up his small-town long-shot style and gets on the offense, he'll be benched for the season. With the help of his coach and a street-wise Jefferson High dropout who was once a star letterman, he trains hard to pump up his "inside moves." But can he get tough on the court before it's too late?
Hoops two is a good book about Brian Davis, a basketball player. The theme of this book is always keep your head high and always give it your best. Brian is challenged by several set backs during his season, but instead of getting down and having a bad attitude he gave it his all and did a good job. An example of this is when both the backup centers are out, he has to play the entire game. The author probably wrote this book to give all the readers a lesson on how life can be tough, but no matter how tough it gets, you need to never give up. I enjoyed this book very much. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read. I would also recommend this to anyone who likes basketball or any sports.
