Accomplish the Mission… or Die Trying.
Meet the men of Alpha Force, an elite team of U.S. Marines hell-bent on defending the world from terror and tyranny no matter what it takes. They are warriors of modern warfare, guardians of freedom, soldiers of sacrifice. In their world, heroes don’t die—they go out in a blaze of glory.
But in the war on terror, Evil has a new name—and it’s about to start playing a whole new game. For in the deserts of the Middle East—under the radar and off the grid—a mysterious organization known only as The Enigma is planning an attack of catastrophic proportions.
Now it is up to the eight men of Alpha Force to infiltrate and destroy The Enigma’s Middle East base before they can unleash their diabolical weapon.
But what terrifying secret lies locked inside The Enigma’s fortress?
OMG why the hell didn't I heed the warning. I got about 1/3 of the way through this and had to stop. Far too graphic even for my taste. Perhaps I'll come back and read this some other day but it's not happening today. The writing is so precisely gory that you'd better have a strong stomach if you want to read this very short book. Since I can't bring myself to go further I will not be rating it.
Holly s*** ! This book is so over the top it can't be read seriously...I don't know if I want to laugh or run away screaming. There is no story, no characters : but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter in this case ! The writer is having fun, slaughtering a troup of marines (testoserone, you're my name !), and if you like gore, you'll be delighted. Otherwise...
There was no point to this book what so ever. A unit is to take out their target, it's a trap... ok, but then what? Soldiers dying with hardons and being shot graphically in the dicks? There is no point or plot to this book except a fetish (of being shot in the dick) that there was no warning to at all.
