Dr. Joyce Poole wrote a concise, but very informative book on elephants with beautiful photographs. It stands the test of time and is still worth reading. Please do whatever you can to Save the Elephants. Support Save the Elephants, the Iain Douglas-Hamilton top rated charity. The Elephant crisis Fund started by the Wildlife Zconsrvation zneteork snd Hamilton funds a variety of projects with proven success. The Sheldricj Wildlife Trust, Elephants without Borders, Elephant Voices, and the Amboseli Trust are also excellent.

One of a series of nature books from the Worldlife Library. Compiled by experts and beautifully photographed. Excellent book if you want to know the basics and not get bogged down with too much scientific information.
