It was pretty good in depth book on managing a talk radio station, many helpful insights. But yeah it wasn't a page turner or anything, was relieved when it was over.
3,5/5 stars First read during radio school and thought I would give this a re-read now that I have finished radio school and gained more experience in this field. I thought this book was well put, and I enjoyed having exemples from radio around the world, especially the US because it’s so different with how we do radio here in France. Some chapters are a skip because it is addressed to radio directors who actually can decide when to change a show, or the color of the programs. But it’s so the biggest part of the book so it was fine. Definitely a book I would recommend for a starting radio host or a more advanced radio host, but I don’t think it’s truly interesting for radio fans (as this book is very technical on the speaks and the organisation of a show).
